So, let me get this straight: You ask me for an example (read: one) of when a clue was properly interpreted. Now you're angry because I only provided one example, which is what you asked for?

You asked a question. I answered it.

I can admit the clues for Loveless this game were a bit ridiculous. Even so, there are still two other mafia other there. I really don't know how you can say the clues are continually getting harder, I can tell you as the writer that they haven't.

I expect people to analyze the day/night posts and synthesize information. I expect people to notice common threads and do research to connect people to them.

Or... as Shocko put it with a lack of eloquence:

Maybe you should just give me a one night immunity so that I can actually help the town instead of being lynched after the second night like all games

The clues on me were not too rediculous, I found out about the shouting on the first night. I was curious and found my post signing up for this within five minutes. As for the heart stab, I thought I was a goner. But I lived!

Next game should go Mythical :3

Pedobear - Each night, the Pedobear chooses a player. Any of that player's actions cannot be performed that night, as they are being raped by the Pedobear.

The side mafia (fast mafia or w/e) should do this....

It's really like I'm credit to the game of Mafia.

Yeah because last game when you were lynched by Shocko after several nights you found so many Mafia.

I'm not angry. I was being sarcastic, trying to show you what your answer means.
Because to be honest I was quite astonished that after you basically proved my point (1 clue solved in 2 games is nowhere near enough to win a game) you still answer in a way that indicates that you think it's alright (stubborn, obvious facts part). And please don't take this personally. That's just the way it looks like for me.

And I as a player can assure you that your clues (in average) ARE getting harder. Maybe it's just that you slip fewer easy clues and the harder clues are staying the same, I don't know. I can just repeat myself: When I started playing Mafia there were usually quite a number of clues (roughly 30%-50% iirc) of those you revealed where I said to myself "damn, you could've gotten that one". But the last 2 Mafias there were 1 or 2 such clues per game. So if it's not your clues getting harder, then it's me getting more stupid.

Also, here are some statistics that clearly show something's going the wrong way starting with Mafia 9:

First look at the evaluations, they give a good estimate:
1-8: 0 points: neither side won or lost more often
9-11: 6 points: Mafia always won

The games won/lost show the same. So do the percentages of faction members survived.
Conclusion: Clearly Mafia was much stronger the last 3-4 games.
So if you insist on your clues being solveable, what other reasons are there?
If there's other ways than clues to restore balance this would be an acceptable compromise for me too.

Every time I say this I risk yet another notice... But... If town fucking did something... You get the idea.

What were the player lists in those games? Who found the clues? Do they still Play?

In my defense AofST. Both FlyingHat and NerdyTerdy were townies. So when I said "Mafia wants us to lynch a townie!" I wasn't wrong.

I still think more rules are needed. Not posting clues and just bandwaggoning, truely kills the game. If you only want to be a special role, and never a townie. Sign off. You kill the game.

I don't think you quite understand. I'll retierate: I only provided one example of a correctly interpreted clue because you only asked for one. This does not imply whether or not there are not more -- you can not use this information to make the claim that my example must be the only example. I didn't look for more examples because I only needed one to answer your question. I said to myself, "All right, let's find an example for NudeRaider's question. ... Hey, these threads are pretty long. I'm not going to read all this in its entirety for properly interpreted clues; I'll only find one example because it answers NudeRaider's question." You're making the claim that the one example of a correctly interpreted clue over the past two games which I provided is the only correctly interpreted clue, which might be true, but does not necessarily follow from your premises.

Summary: Absense of evidence is not evidence of absense.

Alright, you don't want to hear it. Instead you hide behind semantics. It was worth a try to make my favorite forum game interesting for me again. I give up.

As a sidenote I'm a bit disappointed that no one else spoke up, because from what I gathered many players DO think the clues are too hard.
Well maybe they are afraid speaking against you, maybe they just enjoy ridiculing others. I don't know...
Anyways, as I said, I give up.

If it matters to someone (Nude, maybe), I do think the clues were too hard this game. Though I didn't try to analyze them too much, I see that many of them were not something that would come to my mind. Moose, you're thinking on a wrong wavelength. ADJUST.

Yeah, it took some research to find my OWN clues, even when I already knew who to incriminate (myself).

I didn't see the clues for the other two and I was looking into them, knowing that they were already.

I gotta agree with nude. The clues for Disciple I would have NEVER have gotten, because I dont know that about him. And Loveless's medical condition? Going a bit personal arent we?

I say I write the clues the next-next game. They'll be so easy, the mafia will shit bricks.
