Hi, I had played a game where the engineer had made a bunch of turrets, and bunkers, then I killed the engineer on his last life, but all that shit had changed over to p7-p8 control, so it all stayed and blew my temple up XD. Psions spells bug out ALOT like they get jammed up in the gateway, I had 8 ice-gremlins at 1 point :/ Note: If alot of you have not figured it out yet, you have to have a void active to use most of psions spells. Phantoms l4, last time I used it, only did a base of 50 dmg + unlike his l2, which I belive was 230+dmg-ups ... just feel it may need a lil changing is all, but I always look at the long term, not short game. Also, his "major dmg" 1 shot l2, can randomly target a spawn so its kind of junk in a scrap with spawn around.

I agree with everyone that the earth demon blows :/ was able to kick it in the face with medic a number of times. Also had a guy play as mutant, got stuck in l4 shape, couldnt heal at temple, then when the ultra died, it left the ling off the map, trapped. So he tried to make another ultra and it killed the ling.

Hey guys..

Sorry for all the bugs and stuff :crazy: .. I wanted to release this beta version asap so you guys can have a taste and help out with the balancing and glitch fixing ^.^.. So, my word of advice is to not treat this version TOO seriously... it IS a Beta version after all.. =).. But the feedback so far is great.. except i don't really understand what dalton's saying :hurr:

anyways... Ideas on improving lurker would be great too.. Although, i don't see why people think it bombs that much... In the version I posted right now, the lurker should have 4700 hp instead of 4k... the obs should have 75 hp instead of 50..
There is an idea for it to spawn a homing missile.. or flare gun.. that will home onto foes and stun them for 4 seconds.. that was the original idea, but didn't work well with the earth theme (obviously)...
Although Burrow Drive is a great spell, and Rock Tomb introduces a building killing spell, it's L1 and L3 were really sort of thrown in there :><: .. Not that they aren't bad, but yeah... it's more like I pieced it together without knowing what the final product would be...

Psion's spells should all work.. I had a LOT of trouble with its spells, but I KNOW I had them all fixed.. >:C .. I may be wrong, but it's more likely that you just donno what's going on :P.

Is the Mech's L4 still broken at the current version? I know i fixed it O.o.. whether it's OP or not... that's ez to change (# of wraiths can be lowered)

Engineer is DEFINATELY NOT underpowered. Let it be for now, until people get used to it and start understanding what it can be used for.

Other than that.. what can I say? XD.. it's beta.. usually i'd keep it to myself until i think it's good enough to be released (remember i said.. 2 weeks for triggering.. 2 months of testing?) .. yea.. this is to allow you to get used to the new heroes/changes, and help speed up the "beta" process =)..

i found a couple problems.
1. lurks n mutant? really bad.
2. rine omg too much dmg
3. psion glitch when he uses l2 too soon after l1 causes all spells to freeze.

otherwise i really like the concept of the scion, its really more of a team player and u can decimate with his l4 paired with l2 or l3, but i feel like the phantom is a little underpowered, in my experience, i haven't been able to play with him much. Also, whats with the buildings now? cause cybernetics core used to be war factory. is it still?

First off, I'd like to say that engineer is not underpowered- rather overpowered IMO.
Now that it does +6 dmg, it murders all small units like phantom, mutant and assault. Its a beast. :><:
Also, it is an ultamite farming machine. :omfg:
It has splash, which is double the exp from spawns in your lane.
If you rush spell 4, you can get exp from two lanes unless the opponents kill them.
From then on, you can farm so well. I was playing a game of 2:2 and i had 800 xp.....the others had 300.
I maxed hp and was unstoppable. I killed the phantom on the other team within a few attacks.

i dont care how great you are vs spawn, if you cant fight heros worth crap its a useless class, and show me how great his +6 is to any medium unit or buildings, gl killing temple as engineer.

So far, I'm digging the Psion (but it its a bit glitchy.) I saved up 120 mana, and attacked the bottom bases south west defenses. Casted l1, followed by l2. I waited until just before my first l2 was going to run out and then hit it again. It didnt work, told me I needed a vortex (which was weird b/c vortex was lasting way longer when I had used it earlier). Anywho, at this point I was almost dead from not killing the pylon like expected and walked off. When I came back to the base, L1 was glitched, was just building zealots in top left. Hope that helps

Overall, I think rine is bordering on being overpowered again, web + stun are hardcore. Lurker needs damage up, I think +4 or +5, and the observer for its l2 needs to have infinite health, its way too easy to kill late game. And is the lurker supposed to freak out after you kill the ob mid-spell? Overall, I'm looking forward to a more polished version of this.

found new bug unholy. lurkers l4 doesnt work on engineer buildings. we tried when he controls them and when he doesnt on all the things he builds including special assims.

well couple of things to report and a couple of general comments/questions.

ran across 2 bugs:
1. the psions l1 basically shut down everything started having zealots and couldnt make spells nemore.
2. wierd bug i might say. after rines just b4 the nightfall b4 zealots arrive clock hit zero and that was it. timer went away and it never turned to night lol. funny as hell really hurt me playing lurk specially having rines trashing it every second. took me a while b4 i got ups for it and basically everything shut down no spawn increase and no more night/day lol.

couple of comments:
1. lurker definately has some good stuff i really like that observer very easy to escape but like they said it dies way 2 fast. late game arround ne heros that can kill it its a death sentance. i used l3 and my friend got freaked out and misclicked lol. he ended up dieing because of it had to laugh all because of a spell animation lol since i was nowhere near him. also with the lurk im very confused how its l4 works am i suppose to stand next to a building then cast it to destroy it?

2. the new ghost illusionist is it? nehow i don't like false advertising and well i used spell 2 and it turned me into an invicble ghost with exact same dmg. i dont really care 2 much about the dmg what killed me was it said spawns ghost for 1 big hit and instead i turn into invicble 1 hit ghost and well that got me killed lol. spell 4 is very powerful which is good :)

3. not impressed with the change to light mage l2 i cast near a wall or a narrow spot and i get 1-2 reavers. did not like that at all.

4. bat is definately still over powered :( even with non invicible mines but hes very fun to use as the new rine. and i gotta say i luv those armored refineries. made it much easier to take stuff and keep them alive.

5. in general im liking 1.5 even though a few kinks need to be worked out.

First of all, i don't like the way you used 'you' instead of 'it' because it feels a bit insulting. :-(
As for player killing, it can kill small units easily while large units die easily by being trapped from spell 4 except for mech's vulture and volt.
You can still destroy buildings with 1/2 dmg.....+3 is better than assault's +2- its still a lot of dmg with it's fast attack rate.

not really, its very easy not to get trapped by mines, by the time you have mine drone most units 1hit kill mines and since theyre no long invincible that = kill 1-3 mines before they sink and run. 1/2 damage applied to def is almost nullified. I used YOU because I was tired.

Found Glitch.. >< Forgot to save the replay.. But there is also a screen shot of it. The Engineer keeps making bunks and the academy stays while it continuously creates the marines over and over instead of removing the academy.

I went zergling, enemy went lurker. I'm not sure but I think I got hero lurks when I used L3.
So... I used L3.
There was no spell duration, they lasted forever.
1 even healed constantly.
Somewhere along the lines, I gained this power and I healed constantly.
Casted L2, heal went away, I died. Zerglings stayed.
