I would say to go to this guys channel on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/user/herecomesmongo79i like to listen to the jazz funk songs which are for the most part all insturmentals
I would recommend you get a lot of pink floyd for songs such as
Any Color You Like
One of these Days
Echos
Green is the Colour
Cluster One
Marooned
Atom Heart Mother Suite(this is kinda classical)
Saucerful of Secrets
Innersteller Overdrive
Shine on You Crazy Diamond (all parts)
Also i would recommend getting into a band called Radiohead, i bet you've heard of them. They play kind of a brittsh modern psychedelia type of deal.
Theres this really good superjazz group named Fourplay. They're a classic jazz set of four people. I have a couple of cds of theirs, and they are excellent. One of my favourites of theirs is a song called Wish You Were Here, u can see it on youtube here :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1gL5cU-vBE&feature=relatedI also like to occasionally listen to Sonic the Hedgehog music. Its actually pretty well thought out and complex. Especially the music from number 3
