I personally think the songs are way better than the songs in GH4... The guitar for the songs in GH4 are all way easier than the GH3 songs. I'm pretty sure I can beat every song on GH4 on expert... I've never played all the songs, but I've beaten all the hard ones. Also, GH3's songs are way more like hardcore and you just wanna play them over and over again lol.

Anyone else think the same thing as me? Well, I love GH3 though. I can beat every song on that too though. Yeah, EVERY SONG. I have no life right? I've beaten Through the Fire and Flames on expert and The Devil Went Down to Georgie... Well, just post what you think of GH3 and stuff... Awesome game.

Have you beaten all songs in the tighter GH2? :P Have you beaten Satch Boogie? Or Anything, by an Endless Sporadic in WT?

The challenge of WT is singing and playing guitar simultaneously.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL4IM055H_w

Satch Boogie took me a couple of days to beat, while I'd already had practice from GH2 and GH3, where Jordan and TTFAF each took a week. I passed Gergorge on my sightread. Raining Blood is the hardest song in GH3, anyways.

Between GH2, GH3, RockBand Guitar, GH80s, GH4, and RockBand 2, I have about 70 expert full comboes. I'm also ranked like 18th on expert vocals on RockBand 2, with a few 5 stars and gold stars on some pretty difficult songs (I only have a few scores uploaded on ScoreHero), and 5th by myself as a expert guitar/vocals band. I took up drumming a couple days ago and I can beat most songs on expert, and have a few FCs.

But ya, GH3 is probably my second least favourite rythm game. GH1 is my least favourite, and Rock Band 2 is mah most.

I beat Raining Blood easy. And yeah, I beat Satch Boogie. I've actually tried singing and playing guitar in Rock Band a few times... It was hard lol. I've tried Jordan before but I've never beaten it. GH2 is way harder than GH3 and I wasn't as good back then when I tried it. I haven't tried it in a long time though. I might be able to beat it after some tries and practice though. TTFAF took me a long time to beat.

Do you tap the intro, or just jiggle your fingers and pray?

Because if you tap it, the song is retardedly easy. I can get 100% on the intro more than half the time I play it.

Also, I know about the difficulty of GH2... Playing Jordan in the GH3 engine, I can easily get 95%, and I can barely 5-star it in GH2.

Nah, I didn't tap it. If I practiced tapping it it'd be way easy. The hard parts for me are Herman's Solo and Twin Solo. Once I get past those I basically beat it... I beat the intro every time anyway, it's easy for me. I just hold down green and hit all the other notes except orange. I just ignore the orange button but I still can get up into the green. I can probably do it all one handed if I practiced it though.

I agree, im so pissed at GH4.... I havent even beat the entire thing yet. I jsut got the guitar pack, and the guitar buttons stick, the strum is squeaky and so is the whammy. The interface of GH4 is cool, all the customization, and the custom songs i okay, ive made a couple of real song on it. But the set list, ugh... There are like... 5 good songs (good for guitar hero i mean... well pretty much jsut good peroid.) Float on, santeria, the kill, just beat it (lol), assasin, and Nuvole e Lenzuola

Guitar hero 3, there wasnt one really BAD song on there, and TONS of fricken sweet songs. half the songs are awsome, and the other half are good.

Guitar hero 4 jsut has bad songs for guitar hero. The makers need a wake up call, guitar hero aerosmith was a terrable idea, and the songs on gh4 are terrable... What band they really should have some of is Billy Talent, their songs would be so perfect and awsome and fun to play...

The interface of GH4 is pure shit. Shit. Shit.

RB2 has the best interface of any rythm game ever. And assassin is a terrible GH song. Aerosmith is a pretty sweet game if you enjoy the band, or songs with irregular patterns.

The next one coming out is Metallica.

You could try searching first...

Also, Rock Band(2) & Guitar Hero II ftw!
(There are topics on them too!)

It is actually the first topic on the bottom. Use keywords, not acronyms.
Just because it is old does not mean you have to make a new one.

I made a new one because I didn't know there was another one... Not because it was old.

Btw, the song from Linkin park on the guitar hero 4 wasn't that good I thought they should of put like a classic in there like In the end. just my thought

I tried Guitar Hero for the first time two weeks ago (the one that got almost all the songs from the GTA San Andreas radio channel K-DST). Even on easy it was terribly hard, though my friends told me I were quite good considering it was the first time I'd tried it. Not my thing though, Stepmania ftw!

If you found it terribly hard on easy, and your friends said you were good, they must really suck O.o When I picked up the guitar for the first time I was able to play most songs on medium and a few on hard.

I'd have to say Through The Fire and Flames by DragonForce was the hardest song on GH3, I got a score of 250,000 points on easy, and failed at 72% medium. I'm alright but I'm still learning to relax more and play medium better

I've heard that GH III is defective or something. My gf works at bestbuy and within a day of it being released, they had tons of returns because something wasn't working.

I do not know about the game, but the guitar itself, the Les Paul model, has had tons of problems.
Buttons not reading and such.

For everyone that thinks they suck on easy; yes, yes you suck at the game. Put it down now.

That must be it. One of my friends has the game and it works just fine, he must not have that guitar.

If it's the guitar, then I don't have to worry about anything. I don't even own the game. I'm just borrowing it for a long time... A looong time. Anyway, I'm using the Xplorer Controller (Guitar Hero 2 controller) so I don't need to worry about it.

Hey- I'll have you know that the first time i played, i could barely pass a medium song. Now, i have most of Expert GH2+3 5-starred and 28/30 5 stars on GHrt80's, so practice does do something.
