You can clearly read in Greo's post that the Deerwhale got attacked by Mafia. So they know who he is. There's no reason to hide anymore. So why, when my enemies know my identity, should I not let my allies know?!

Tell me whom I should kill this night (PM) and I can prove to you that I am Deerwhale. Still I urge the doctors to protect me since even when I was lying (although I have no reason to betray town) I am the most active townie and thus an asset to town.
