Hmm.. so the medivac makes nuking a bit more viable.

A lot of people have been saying this... I've gotta disagree. I'd say it's more the shortened nuke duration that does it. In SC1 you could use d-matrix+medics, so the medivac isn't hugely different. And it wasn't clear if Kim had more than one nuke silo (I think the merc place does it? I'm not 100% on the names of stuff), but he seemed to replenish his nuke damned fast.

Hello

That was awesome and it looked much more balanced now than the #2 (Zerg vs Terran) in which the Terran was "terrible terrible" imbalanced.
I'm not a friend of the new psi-storm, it's quite to fast: you have no chance to escape it.

It has come to my attention that ghosts now have 100 HP. I didn't realize this before, and this massive HP boost (more than double!) is why the ghost's survivability is so high now.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I think I prefer the nuke to be a secondary weapon for terran than primary, simply because one successful hit can wipe out an army, and the ghost can cloak anyway. Oh, well. Let's see how it turns out.

yea i think the nuke completely turned the game arround for kim. granted he had some decent attacks that netted him some extra time but he was losing most of the game in minerals. The toss outmined him for quite a while and even thwarted his attacks pretty well. The only thing that kept him in the game was the begining advantage of the opponent not know what tech he was getting.

The nuke completely changed the game. before that the protoss was winning the battles that counted. he completely stomped a base with only 4 zealots warped in while avoiding too much eco loss when attacked. When nuke arrived he began losing outposts and the cash he needed to giht the battles. If he had chosen a more appropriated tech he may have done better fighting but i have a suspicion the nuke would have still kicked his butt.

Completely and utterly untrue for like, 80% of the game...

This is beautiful. I like how they remade Lost Temple. Even though I hated it on SC1, it looks pretty kickass on SC2. I really don't like the psi storm though. It deals way to much damage over a course of like two seconds. Also, why does the Xel'Naga Watchtower have a Terran portrait? I'd think it would have something more Protoss-like. :|

Nuke is supposed to be game changing.

Haven't watched the games yet (i have a feeling vista making me have no sound will make my experience not that great...) but i can definitely say if your going for a nuke at any time, your gonna lose something. Nukes arent just a BO.

Just Here For The Pie

Noble of him to admit his place, but all too cowardly.
The command of the game can change greatly over time. If the Protoss just applied himself a little longer, we could have seen the tables turn.

Just listening to the commentators cracks me up. They take the gameplay as if it were sport, and, sadly, it is in Korea.

At first, I thought Dustin replaced terrible, terrible with huge, huge... until the nuke happened. I assume he tried to prevent himself from saying "terrible, terrible damage", but then he can't help it during the nuke. :P

More health than the marine with shield? What the hell? I doubt that, but I'd say the Ghost has statistics that allowed survivability (You know, heavy armor, medium armor, light armor traits with each have an advantages and disadvantages from certain attacks; light can be better than heavy in certain circumstances)

GHOSTS ARE NOT HUMAN. THEY ARE PSIONIC HUMAN WITH NUKES. So they get 45 more HP then marines with shields.

New storm is awesome-looking but probably terribly terribly imba. I think the nucks are a tad too powerful if ghost really did get such a huge HP boost.

I don't know about that, the player using the storm probably sacrificed a lot of time and resources to research the storm and create those templars. If he hadn't researched storms, he probably wouldn't have been able to make enough units in the stead of storms for those hypothetical units to be worth more than the storms themselves. On top of that, he lost the game.

you can make probably 2-3 more units instead of getting storm...

And if storm kills lets say 50 hp of of four units for each time you use it, and each HT uses it twice...

Storm also works a pseudo-observer, and gives you an option other then just archoning with HTs.

So much for this. Marines might as well just wear Ghost outfit without that construction hassle.
