The Shrine

Excellent example of a proper scene/screenshot.

I don't think it was very ground-breaking for the topic, but it's a good scene:

High-Def Version

Height issues on the left side, although I think I got most of the noticeable height problems. Also, a few blocks here or there, but overall I think it turned out nicely, it's one of the private islands for Mystic Islands RPG

Looks like a good scene but my eyes just keep "jumping" to the repeated ramp tiles right in the center... And that doodad at the bottom right looks unfinished or something??

Overall its pretty good, but the eyesores needs some attention.

Edit:
Also, I noticed that on the top platform you used the same cliff face (with the grass) like 8 times in a close proximity. You should add some variation :)

Yeah, I noticed that myself when looking at it when finished, I'll definitely have to change it.

Ugh.. That one really bugged me, but I couldn't find another blend that could do the same thing, does anyone know of one?

Yeah, my attempt to blend the cliff to the bridge in a new and unusual way, I should probably work on that one.

You could use ruins edge tiles to blend high-dirt to jungle. Not really sure if you can make a less blocky transition from high-dirt to dirt

I would go with a grass transition. Or maybe make that whole platform highdirt??

Something like this maybe?

I didn't spend much time on it, but you get the idea.

The sword and the faith

Sorry I didn't make the poll yet guys, a bit busy. Also, anyone who's posted multiple images, please clarify which one is your actual entry.

No but I think you should use one of those and expand it into an actual scene. Just a tip, you don't have to.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
