The opinion seems to be split between some variation of The Observer and Untitled Scenario. SENzine was also a popular choice, but doesn't have any sort of ring to it. I find these 2 choices have very distinct strengths and weaknesses. They are both worthy of use and would be more than willing to use either.

The Observer
Pros:
Happens to be a SC unit.
Flexible enough to include SEN in the name.
Comes with a mascot.
More professional sounding.

Cons:
Not as UMS related
Not the most fitting to our theme. I'd imagine this would be more sensible for a site like TeamLiquid's that gets exclusives, hear-it-here-first's, and Blizzard leaks.
*Copyright worries here are unfounded. It should not be considered a con.

Untitled Scenario
Pros:
Most closely matches the theme of the zine.
Almost an inside joke that any SC mapper (target audience) gets.
Identifies our very specific niche which we excel in.

Cons:
Not as professional sounding.
Does not explicitly mention the Staredit Network.
Some people might not get it.

If The Observer wins, expect another poll on which variation.

The sword and the faith

Further con for untitled scenario: Makes it look like we're only mapping, and modding should be included too.

Voted Observer.

Just here for the pie

Instead of Untitled Scenario, it should be Untitled SENario :).

That sounds really unprofessional. Makes it look like we can't spell.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Voted Observer, it just fits in my opinion. It kind of just rolls off the tongue. The Mascot Pro makes me think of an observer made in an emoticon fashion.

None.

SEN Observer. Untitled Scenario just sounds too plain.

The Observer. Nice and simple. When the mascot of the observer is created, just make him look like he is "edited."

The Observer sounds much more stylish and professional. And it fits the theme.

I'd say it only fits the theme that this is about SC. I'd like to think that while is doesn't exclude anything from its startcraft discussion, it still has a specialty or niche. In just general SC or SC2 discussion we can't hold a candle to TL, but in map making/modding we have 'the high ground'

I like the observer, but it sounds more like a Newspaper then an eZine. I voted Untitled Scenario, thought I like both.

Though I agree with you, I don't think that justification is enough to throw away such an awesome name in all other respects.

I voted Untitled Scenario.

The Observer sounds so plain, I feel like I've seen that as the title of a half-dozen fictional newspapers (Spiderman maybe?).

We don't really tell anyone anything about the zine with "The Observer," and we don't cater to our audience with it. As CAFG pointed out, about the only thing that we might contest with TL (or other sites) in is melee mapmaking discussion. Everything else that we'll publish on we're essentially competitionless, and we should promote that uniqueness rather than the giving a title that resembles what EVERYONE does.

The pun is semi-clever, but it's far too bland to me.

I think you meant to say UMS map making. We even hold glitter to http://www.panschk.de/mappage/newsscript/viewnews.php

Dude, No. Remember the Glitch where if you keep moving the observer until it's over the Missile Turret, like in the "Can you do 25 tricks" map?
We pwn Missile Turrets.

Are there any good spell names? Like Psionic Storm? I'm only trying to think of a different name, since The Observer is already taken irl.

Which is why we're calling it "The Staredit Network Observer," not just "The Observer."

None that really match up with generic newspaper or magazine names. I wasn't even thinking about the StarCraft unit when I suggested it.
