I played a MOD, the MOD messed up StarCraft, I UnInstalled StarCraft, I Couldn't find the original StarCraft (only BroodWar) which I need to ReInstall StarCraft, I found the original version, disk case didn't have IP number, Can't ReInstall StarCraft! *Catches breath from fast talking* Can you please help?

Buy new CD, 1-3€ @ Ebay.

1) Mod isn't capitalized, its not an acronym
2) Mod's don't screw up your SC install (though old mods may be able to depending on what was used to make it), the people that install/run them wrong do
3) Its CD Key not IP
4) We can't help you. Did you expect us to know your/give you a CD key?
5) Its like $10 for the whole battle chest, just buy a new CD key

No Quert, The MOD Messed up StarCraft, so I Uninstalled it to ReIntall it again, but I can't find the right case with the SC IP number on it to RInstall SC. My main question is "Is there a auto-saved file on the starcraft disc i can scrape from?

How do you know the mod messed up starcraft? Which mod were you using?

I was using several differant ones, I cant keep total track. And Centreri, I didn't say it was wrong, I said it was funny. And Im' not paying for a whole new battle chest!

Mods do not mess up your SC install unless YOU did something wrong (though I did say depending on how an old mod is made it could possibly be the mods fault, but still shouldn't be). Mod's modify StarCraft "in memory" (which means the files on your harddrive are not effected and all changes are only until active until the program is closed.

OMG... *takes deep breath* It didn't mess up the install. It messed up the game so i had to uninstall then reinstall. but i cant find the case with CD Key thats why i cant get back up on SC...

And if you had read the things I said and just took a second to understand you would know I never said your game wasn't messed up, I only said its (most likely) YOUR fault, not the mods. Once again if you had read what I said, there is nothing we can do, go buy a new CD/CD key!

How did you reinstall without a cd key? If for some reason you still have stardat.mpq on this computer or maybe on another computer in your house, you're good to go as your CD key is encrypted in there. Simply install starcraft using the well known 333-333... key and then copy/paste your stardat.mpq from other computer or backed up one to your new installation.

.. otherwise, ya, you're gonna need to buy a new cd-key. which sucks, sorry.

An .exe style mod can't ruin StarCraft (unless it's a trojan and you fell for it, lolfail)

He doesn't have his CD key with his case anymore, so Blizzard e-installation isn't any help. That is for ppl who have scratched or broken/lost CD's.

IF you have a backup copy of YOUR original stardat.mpq on this computer OR on another computer in your house this is your only hope. Otherwise you're screwed for Bnet until you can cough up another working CD key.

Wait, so you're telling me that once you uninstall SC, the CD Key is useless?!?!
