Trigger 1- I'm trying to make a trig where whenever you lose a unit, a WAV file plays, but it wont work.
Trigger 2- The "HYPER" trigger wont work.
Trigger 3- locations dont fallow units as fast as I want, not even when I put wait 10 or 25 milliseconds.
Trigger 4- Select Rondom Player / Unit trigger, I don't know how to make it work.
Error 1 - Certain sprites I see in other maps, crash the maps I make.
Other 1 - What the heck are switches!?!? (o0)

Unrelated Question: Where can I get a MODDING tool? NOT just a map editor but a MODDING tool that lets me edit beyond maps.

Hello

Trigger1: try this:
Conditon: Current player has sufferd at least 1 deaths of "men"
Action: preserve Trigger
Action: Play Wav
Action: Set Deaths of Men for Current Player : subtract 1

Trigger2: be sure that you didn't forget the preserve trigger action.

Trigger3: you do NOT need a wait in here, just try this:
Condition: Always
Action: preserve trigger
Action: Move Location "X" on UNIT owned by Player X at Anywhere

Trigger4: you mean the random start-location slot? It can be found under "forces" as a checkbox under each Force.

Other1: Switche's functions are in the wiki, but I try to explain them here.
ALL switches starts as "cleared" you can check a switch-status as a Condition (switch) if it is cleared or set.
You can Set/Clear/Randomize/Toogle switches in the Action "Set Switch"
Example triggers

Trigger ONE:
Condition: Always
Action: Set switch 1

Trigger TWO:
Condition: Switch 1 is Set
Action: Display Text Message "Switch 1 has been set."


In this example you will directly, after the game has started, receive a message ("Switch 1 has been set.")



Unrelated question:
Modding tools can be found in the database of SEN or search "PyMS", it's a powerful all-round modding package.
HINT: When you modify, for example, some dat-files and you play it online with other players, who are NOT using that .dat file, it will crash as soon as something in the dat is running that you have edited.
for example:
when you edited the dragoon-fire-speed (cooldown time) it will crash as soon as a dragoon on the map is shoting.

Error.
Certain sprites crash the map, unless they are disabled.

Switches are a bit in memory. They can be on or off, randomized, and can easily be modified with the "switch" condition and the "set switch" action.

Maybe you're running into wait blocks. Check the wiki.
Generally use death counters instead of waits.

To randomize for 8 outcomes (8 players) randomize 3 switches and trigger according to that table
0 = clear, 1 = set
P1: 000
P2: 001
P3: 010
P4: 011
P5: 100
P6: 101
P7: 110
P8: 111
