Much to my continual surprise, some tv shows are actually worth watching, as in, more than just time wasters.
Scrubs is obviously the best show ever. But I've got a possible 'new' one for you, recommended by my sister: Dexter. I'm not sure why, but the show has had my attention since last week. I recommend giving it a try.

I've also, in the past, watched sopranos, lost, heroes, and 24. I have Fringe and Rome waiting for me as well. Is there anything else I've been missing? So, post your favorite shows and thoughts and etc.

Dexter is my favorite TV show of all time. Though I do think it has some problems, it beats all the others by a mile in most categories.

IP, if you haven't seen the 2nd season, watch it ASAP - the ending is purely epic.

Personally i believe Spongbob is one of the greatest cartoons of all time. It has a lot of adult humor in it that make it hilarious. Its definatly somthing I watch to chill my nerves or calm my anxiety. I wouldnt say its a waste of time. Also, Robot Chicken is one of those shows, only that show is just hilarious in every aspect.

Now if by show you mean like stuff on NBC or what have you, im a big fan of House MD. Its pretty interesting most of the time, but the plot of each episode tend to be the same. Its still pretty funny, but it has its serious parts to it.

I'm a LOST fan, I like the whole "Castaway" feel

I have a friend that is obsessed with Dexter. He also seems to like the last couple seasons of Dr. Who.
I have heard from a couple people that the new Dr. Who is an interesting show to watch.

As for me, I do not watch much television. Maybe some Metalocalypse or The Xtacles when it comes out.

I really did like Scrubs. It went downhill about the time JD became a father. And Cox became a liberal. In retrospect, I'm not *that* surprised, but I was kinda hoping for a closet conservative in him. :C
I watch pure junk usually. The only redeeming show I watch is Futurama...and since I own the whole series...well, I don't watch it on tv. I watch chick shows on Bravo and TLC. Yay chick shows with no good qualities whatsoever!

I watched spongebob a couple times when my son was watching it

Some other enjoyable shows:
Jericho : Half romance, half drama. The USA gets blown up by like 23 nukes and it's post nuclear of a small town. I highly recommend. Soundtrack is also sweet, mostly love related songs.
Reaper : Devil / soul catching related. You'd have to see it. Pretty good.

I watch... Scrubs, Daily Show and Lost. Pretty much it.

Dexter is amazing. Season One beats Season 2 by a clear mile. More killing and less boring parts.

I love Dexter, it's the bestest! They actually shoot it at the lot where I work. Freakin' awesome stuff.

I also love Battlestar Galactica, The Vventure Bros., Metalocalypse, TrueBlood, and I used to watch Lost but haven't seen any of the new season.

The Daily Show and Colbert Report are always awesome, too.

Six Feet Under & The Shield

My son turned me on to Spongebob. For all these years, the only people who seemed to enjoy the show were little kids and stoners, so I presumed it wouldn't be something I'd appreciate. Then my son started watching it a few months ago, and I thought "oh great." He sort of forced me to watch it with him a few times and I started to think "y'know, this show is actually pretty clever and funny." Now I like it.
