Iv done that by accident, but i dont want them to do that, i want them to deal damage only by blowing up.. I have a seperated area with 5 reavers shooting to a probe and they scarabs deal him damage by just being near him.. Can anyone help me solve this? Thanks in advance.

How about making the Protoss Probe invincible, or even just adding Hit Points to it via a trigger cycle?

making it invincible makes reavers not shoot scarabs, and i am adding 100% HP to the probe trough triggers but that dosnt change the fact that scarabs just stay near taht probe for 5 seconds and then blow up, trough that 5 seconds they deal it damage.. i dont want that, first time sc bug gives me so much problems -.-, i heard that people used this in maps, but i dont want it, i would like for my scarabs to deal damage propely, just by blowing up.

I don't know what you're talking about exactly, but the only thing I can think of is that the attack trigger is being replayed too fast or that you are doing something to provoke the enemy, whoever owns the Protoss Reaver/Scarb, to attack and then stop, or something with an alliance, maybe.

Post the map?

Cane, most probably you are running a 'Random Suicide Mission' AI script, which is one known reason for scarabs to behave like that. If that is the case, remove the script and tell us if it worked.

That was the only condition I know of that has the effect you described. Perhaps someone knows of some other conditions, but I highly doubt that.

I suggest you double-check your triggers and make sure they don't contain any Randon Suicide AI's. If needed, use Notepad or any similar software to find any such AI commands.

Nope, i cheaked, no random suicide ai used, i removed it completly.. I dont get why my revs wont just behave normaly like always.

Silly error check: make sure you were testing the edited version of the map. May sound stupid, but it sometimes turns out to be the case. :P

If that's not the case, then describe the map and its triggers in more detail please. Also describe any unusual conditions/effects in it. By 'unusual' I mean the use of extended players and other such things.

Make sure that the probe is not constantly moved to an unwalkable location - that may cause him to be tergettable but not attackable in many cases. If memory serves, constantly moved units can only be damaged by splash. This, of course, does not explain why the scarabs deal constant damage, but perhaps something else will.

If nobody will be able to help you, delete all the AI commands and see what happens.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
