Hey, im just wondering if anyone on sen competes in the Science Bowl or Science Olympiad team at their high school. Im in montana, and my high school won Science Olypiad, Science Bowl, and the state computer science competition. Just wondering if any of you do or did these competitions.

... I haven't really heard of the Science Bowl or Science Olympiad at my school. We have a robotics team and we're like 1st or 2nd in the US with our Math Team, though .

I was in Math Team for a bit, but not as one of the nationwide competitors. Not that good.

ah, we dont have a math team at my high school, but in middle shcool i was on the math counts team, i got owned.

my highschool sucked they didnt have any of those; there wasnt even a chess club -_- nor a debate team nor a kickass club where sauve people gather.

You should get yourself a Starcraft team instead ;o

I've participated in many science-related regional contests when I was in school. They were not team efforts though. The places I got varied from 5th to 2nd in maths & physics from 10th to 12th grades.

I've heard of Science Olympiad, and Science Bowl. I don't like either them. Instead, I do Mock Trial. Which is a fake trial, that we compete at regionals, state, and nationals for. We lost a member to Science Olympiad.... Thats why we lost at regionals.

My school didnt have anything, so I quit and am Pursuing a GED

We had an Academic Decathlon team and a Science Bowl team at my old high school. I don't know if they still do it now.

Well, my bragging time, I guess: My school had four Intel Science (out of ten in nation) finalists in 2008. Owned .

Even thought I couldn't understand most of the titles of the projects...

a starcraft team would be sweet lol, i think im the only one on sen in my entire state

ya my school has alot of stuff, but its funny, because the science competitions dont get any money from the school, and our sports teams suck and its a supper huge deal with they get 3rd in state... we just own all of them. We need to raise 20,000 to go to georga though, kinda sucks.
