Does any one have any custom/extended space terrain? I am trying to make a space RPG, but I can only create so much extended terrain. Sprites are acceptable, however, if sprites are used, it would be perferable to have the map for the terrain as well. Any terrain is helpful.

I was just messing around one day. Here's kind of my (crappy and unorganized) extended terrain palette.

I like the plane thing at the arrow and that thing at the very top looks like tentacles, which I've taken advantage of.
Here's a rough draft of the starting area for a map idea of mine.

I like how I extended the bridge tile at the arrow. I haven't seen that before..
And then the white chocolate part on the bottom left looks delicious.
But of course this is nothing compared to post #2

the first effect picture is epic... the second is, well.... too blue and I don't understand what it should be

Those white 'towers' are cool... why you like the one where the arrow shows to? it isn't that special, is it?
However, the picture has very low quality and you just said that it's crappy

You all should use doodads which can hide some blocky parts of the extended terrain's... but the doodads should look good on it or it would be even more ugly

Did someone every tried to make extended doodads or buildings*?
My looks cool!

*Buildings with some doodads on it... for example you can make a new temple with the temple building and some rock doodads [sprites]

Some things I made when I started a space RPG

Launch pad

Space Doodad 1 (repair shop maybe?)

Space Doodad 2 (buoys, beacons, etc?)

The first one has a nice 3D-Optic
the second one looks epic... remembers me to the SC2 nomade
the third one... just the same like someone else posted.... with some red lights on it

i like them anyway... did anyone made something like a pyramind in space?? would look epic...

I'm not much of a terrain person, but all this hard work is inspiring. I seriously thought space terrain was too ugly to try to make anything on it.
