There has been a lot of talk lately about the end of the world with the LHC (turned it on today- beams have run through but they haven't done collision yet). Most of it is just joking and I personally don't think anything will happen, however, I'm not here to talk about if it will or won't be the end of us.
What would you do if you learned (say in the middle of your day) the world was going to end in 12 hours? Last words? Last act? What would be your last mark?
What would you do before you go?
Edit: I need to make clear that this isn't about the LHC. It's just what prompted the thought

I doubt anything will happen. If something does, its not going to be a black hole though. It would take thousands of years for a mini-black hole to get enough mass and gravity to even begin to threaten the earth. It seems some people fail to realize that a mini-black hole does NOT have the same gravitational force as a full sized one. Black holes are created by stars collapsing on themselves, not in a laboratory. Besides, nature supposedly does this kind of LHC experiment all the time.
Of course I may be wrong about the black hole thing, but that's just my opinion on the subject. Time to go find people who actually think this will end the world and make bets for lots of money.

Personally, if the world's end were presented to me in some absolutely undeniable manner, the only response I could imagine is going into a depressed or maniacal state over all the crap I had wanted to do over the next few months.
But this is kind of really, really far off from anything I, or almost certainly any of us, have experience with anyways, so bleh.

For instance, if there were only, say, 24 hours left, then money wouldn't be of much use. But I wonder how many people would still do things for money at that point.

I think that all the subconscious will rise to the surface: sex, rape, murder, admitting love, lies, etc. So if someone had a really strong dream of earning X amount of money, they will steal, kill and do whatever they need to get closer to their goal in those last hours of their existance.
