Well, I was trying out some ship interiors, and I wanted to see if anyone else can find anything better, or if you think what I have looks just fine, so here it goes:

It does look a little alien to me. Or like post-apocalyptic technology. Metal covered over by dirt because of absence of use or disaster, etc. Throw in some stacked buildings to function as components of a spacecraft, and I think you'd have a believable setting from the point of a player.
YOU'VE GOT THE TOUCH, YOU'VE GOT THE POW-UUUUR!

Jungle sucks for anything even remotely involving tech. You might as well get out your sprites and floor traps and kiss your unit count/sprite limit goodbye.

I think that I might have to do that, although I'll be making it with units, not sprites, since I need sprites.

The third is by far the most believable and also the most aesthetically pleasing, but until pigs can fly and you can get rid of all the dirt, there's not much you can do... Sorry

the walls are kinda cool, but these are just triangle rooms... as tuxedo said, jungle is bad for tech, thats what badlands is for :) (Except jungle had a 3rd satelite sprite that space doesnt have)

haha yeah... I don't even want to try this cause it appears impossible to get something out of jungle for the requirements you are looking for...

I agree with Tux the best way o make it look much better would be floor traps. Dispite that it simply looks like a cave. Sorry. one thing you could do and it would take about 4 spirits is make terrain rubble and try that.

It's a lot blockier than I would like, I'll test with floor traps soon, can unit floor traps be walked on?

Yes, it is blocky but I think it's more room-like than yours because it's kinda like a perfect box. Idk how the vision is though... Maybe it's salvageable...

I know, I don't plan on actually making mine look like that :P It was just to show the basic terrain design.
