I've seen a lot of waterfalls in my day, and to be honest they all really sucked, so I made this makeshift wf in like an hour or so. I probably could have done it faster, but it's been a minute since I've played with terrain so ya. The screenies aren't all that sweet, it's watching it in game where you get the full effect. I might change the "flow" to a faster setting if need be.

Just say if there's anything you'd change, and if it's terrain ladder/HOF worthy.
(I'm most likely gonna add exploding hallucinations at the bottom, increase the "flow", add more eldfire sprites, and possibly add rushing water music when I get time )

I love the way you used obs for a flowing effect, but didn't like the white sprites. Also, it seems a little blocky.

id change the width of the fall, it'd probly would help make it less blocky too.

It looks more like a stream going downwards than a waterfall to me. lol

Yeah, I've gotten the same feeling as everyone else, it's quite blocky, could you make it wider so we could see how that looks? maybe it doesn't, I can see that you've got two tiles blending well, and I'm not sure how you could make it wider, although, on those cliffs at the top on the left side, you could easily fix that, so do that before you submit it.

As for wider, i'm not sure what kind of waterfall you all were expecting, but it isn't Niagara falls lol, it's just a regular waterfall. I might change this a lot before I submit, and should I submit in-game, in-editor, or the map?

Yeah, but his looks a lot better since it's so small and so many observers are flowing down it.

Meh, doesn't look like a waterfall in my opinion, would be better without those weird side tiles.

ive only seen two, and they didnt have obs.

I prefer cloaked wraiths over observers any day.

They weren't cooperating... It would make a more rushing feeling, but I gotta get it to work first lol. Also, I added a splashing effect to the bottom of the fall, and I added a second fall above the first. Just working out some triggering and small terrain fixes.

Why aren't the wraiths cooperating?

Uh, I must say, it's rather... bad. I like the idea of a narrow, thin waterfall, but the way you did it is pretty bad.

You realize the blue bottoms of those pieces that you made the waterfall with don't merge with the tan tops.

well they move faster than they cloak so you can see them cloaking... I'm gonna try to work out a system of transport after they have time to cloak cause I would much rather use the wraiths.

I added a second tier to the waterfall so it's more of waterfall's. looks good, it just needs some more intense triggering to make it look great.

It looks kinda blocky and using observers is nothing new...

You are obviously doing that wrong.

You shouldn't be creating new ones that have to cloak. You should be moving the already cloaked ones at the bottom to the top.
