I wanted to try a building under construction since i saw zergblender make a crane by one of my buildings. I also wanted to make a dit building. I also made a water building, its not that great but w/e.

Building under construction:
I know the crane sucks but i think the thing is kinda cool. Alot of sprites though.


Dirt building:
I think this is by far the best thing on this post.


Water building:
nothing really new.

I'm not a fan of cityscape but the crane stuff is actually pretty creative.

I've never tried to make buildings and maybe thats why I admire those who do. Rory even though you probably hate me cause we got in a word fight(lol) i still respect you and your terrain

The crane looks funny, but it's probably about as good as you can get, I love how you made the building look incomplete though, good job on that one.

Your buildings just seem to keep improving with each post you make of them, you just find new blends and transitions to use on the building, and this one is no objection, the transition on the back looks good, but the sides are still a bit sharp, have you tried to find blends that make the sides less sharp?

Yes, I remember you posting the water one, it's cool, but pretty basic, and more blocky than I'm sure you would like, and the bridge doesn't really transition into the building as well as it could.

I played a GTA map in sc that had tons of buildings like this. It was pretty cool and worked well. But I never liked that tileset to begin with so..... yeah.......

I thought the incomplete building was a good idea, but poorly done. I never tried so i dont know. If you spend some more time maybe you'll find something better.

Clever work on that construction building. I'd say it's more interesting than the dirt building.

Haha I just noticed that the crane looks really goofy because there is a crane being used as one of the tiles lol! might want to change that
or maybe thats just a small bridge... idk haha

I was going to make a construction site with a crane, but w/e.
Your building looks better.

I did however make this hotel thingy with a small waterfall going into a fountain.
I hope you don't mind if I post it here:

Note: The toss cannon will be cloaked, damaged and the pylon will be removed.
To create "sparkling" effects there would be a cloaked raszagal above the fountain,
who's shields will constantly be regenerated by a shield battery.

awesome rory, hey you think you could also make like 2 buildings close to eachother and a bridge kind of like connecting them somehow? I know you're real good with buildings. oh and for zergblender, nice waterfall on that building, don't know why i never thought of it. anyways, keep it up rory I'm really waiting for your next map!

Zergblender i really like that, its very nice and creative, its one of the few building things i like nice job. Rory i like the crane but in game it might be a little wierd since technecly the crane in on the ground not in the air but its very good

Bravo ZergBlender, that is what we need in the terrain forum! that starts so many new ideas for me. GJ.

The way the water is coming out of the build just looks weird. The fact of water coming out of a building is just an odd idea.

nice, that is a sweet idea and also a very good non blocky water fall. I may ahve to steal that sometime. And i dont mind if you modify my buildings, it gives me competition and ideas. Also i wouldnt have dont this if it wast for your crane.


ive tried making a bridge before but it looks wierd cause the bottom looks like its conected to the pavement, maybe ill use some flame traps or signs.
