WC2 battle.net edition had a cdkey, the original WC2 i'm fairly sure did not.
None.
I just tried sending validation email again, worked instantly (sweet!).
this too shall pass
The login set-up is so buggy.
Last time I tried, it never accepted the validation code.
Now today when I try to enter my email for the first step, it says it wrong. What's going on?

The only problem with it was the email validation, everything else works (and worked) fine since it started.
I have now input my cd keys of SC, WC3, WC3FT, DII, and DIILoD. For SC if you register you get it and Broodwar, since broodwar has no key. If you have just regular SC, heres your chance to upgrade for free

Finally. I managed to create an account.
Thinking about it, can't pirates just generate cd keys and download the games for free therefore blizzard losing money in the process?
Edit: Ok, what the hell. I'm trying to install SC and it's asking for the 26 letter code on the cd but this one only has 13.

None.
That's because when you download a game the cdkeys are regenerated. To install the downloaded version you have to check its cdkey in the blizz store. In the games list there's a link with the title "CDKEY".
