Eh's a pretty cool guy

I really hope we'll be able to choose units based on their current properties.
So: Always Destroy all ghosts with exactly 100% energy And do more specific stuff that I really can't think of. You can code in the new editor, there's really no limit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Eh has a gauss rifle and eh doesnt afraid of anything.

If it can stop people making "strip whoever" maps then I'll be impressed.
The worry i have is that I would have no chance of making something good in it. In SC, one person can make a pretty incredible map by himself (or herself), but with SCII, you'll be able to create your own models and probably do everything with triggers except rewriting the game engine. What i mean is I won't have any excuse for saruman having a glowing blue shadow thing anymore. To keep up with everyone else will require more than just knowing one triggering system really well. Oh well, time to learn 3D modelling... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yep, that is why I like Starcraft editing so much. It is so simple and basic that you can know everything about it. It takes years (at least) to master everything about War3 edit however. Same goes for SCII but then even worse, probably.
For example, it will be possible to create a FPS shooter in SCII, or at least one from behind-top the character. That is even possible in WarIII. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Meh.

Oh well, time to learn 3D modelling... Stop being dramatic, and don't learn modeling. Seriously. You won't be able to match SCII graphics, don't even try. Instead, practice making maps with the WCIII editor, and you won't be that far behind. Or... insert your .avi and have it DISPLAY! |

If WCIII's editor could do it... expect the same out of SCII's editor... SE^!SE = WE WE^!WE = SCUME SCUME^!SCUME = D3E == PwNeD. The future is ours. Actually, I'd make it more like WCIII = SC^5, SCII = 2 x WCIII. Still, awesome. Yes, you can do this. YOU CAN DO ALMOST ANYTHING!!!1!!1oe1 You can make a third person RPG map as you use the keyboard to move and attack. Hell, I expect first person in SC2. Terran briefings are first person-ish, so probably. No. Blizzard's pretty tight with security stuff. EUDs can POSSIBLY be used as a virus. But it takes a lot of effort to do it. Even so, Blizz said 'Nup' and constantly fucks it up every update. ...No? These aren't EUDs. If WCIII's editor could do it... expect the same out of SCII's editor...
