which solution did you follow to get it?

None.

Opened up each patch zip to test if it was corrupted. When one didn't open, it was obvious it was corrupted. Moved all patches out of the folder to simulate not having patched.

Started up darkspore and then moved all of the patches back into the folder apart from the first one (was already downloading) and the corrupted one. This made it so I only needed to get one of the patches downloaded (the corrupted one) and it would then continue.

So in essence, I made up my own.

But wouldn't it just error again once it tried downloading the corrupt file? (even if it was the only file that needed downloading)

None.

Back* from the grave

He took out the corrupt file, so it read that it had not downloaded the file, and it re-patched said file.

Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I suppose there's something to that

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
