Hi, I just looked through SCM Draft 2's list of AI scripts, but didn't see what I want.
Basically, I want to set all computer players to unally each other. Then I'll run the usual campaign or custom scripts so that they build and attack each other at random. It would be cool to watch and maybe interfere as a human player.
Anyway, is this possible, and if so, where do I get the script?
None.

Set alliance status.
It's an action, not an AI script. It works even on neutral computers without AIs.
You can't change player 9-12's alliance status though, since they can't run triggers. Players 1-8 can all be changed. For example, you can make player 1 unally player 12, but you can't make player 12 unally player 1.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
Cool! That thing worked!
Yea I noticed it about P9 - P12 as soon as I saw the minerals and vespene geysers were outlined in red. I figured it was only 1-way, because I read somewhere that triggers owned by P9 - P12 are ignored.
But now I have a somewhat related problem. I have to use UMS for this to work, but I'd like everyone (even the computers) to be user-selectable race. So I need triggers that spawn a small base for each player, but it has to be race-specific. In other words, I need a condition: If player x is race Terran/Zerg/Protoss.

You can set humans to user select just fine in UMS. They get a main building and 4 workers of the race they chose (or randomized).
Computers have no way of choosing, so you either have to set them as random (they also get a main building and 4 workers of the randomized race) or create triggers that let the player select the computer's race after the game started.
Wait, am I missing something? Humans can be set to user-selectable, but Computers only have Terran/Zerg/Protoss option. The user-selectable radio button is grayed out for comps.

What radio buttons? Are you sure you're using the latest ScmDraft 2 version? (check Mapping tools forum)
There's a drop down which is independent of the player type setting where you can choose user select.
If you choose user select for computers it will be automatically random in the pre game lobby.
Yeah, mb, I was in staredit by mistake and didn't know it. Intersting (and useful) that user-selectable comps go random. Anyway, everything works now. Thanks a lot.
