GLOBAL DOMINATION
***GENERAL INFORMATION***
The goal of the game is to be the last player standing. To do this, you must eliminate all enemy cities with your tools and weapons.
Each player starts out with 5 cities (A, B, C, D, E), each containing 30 population. Every time a weapon is successfully used on a city, damage is dealt in the form of population. When every city that a player controls has 0 population at the end of a turn, that player loses. Cities cannot be captured, but they can be rebuilt through Propaganda.
***GAMEPLAY***
Each turn you can preform one action. There are two types of actions: readied and instant. To preform most actions you need a specific type of ammunition.
-Instant Actions-
Instant actions happen on the turn you order them. This includes attacking with Soldiers, deploying Anti-Missle Batteries, deploying Anti-Aircraft Batteries, using Propaganda, and Building Weapons.
Soldiers - Uses one "Soldiers" ammunition. Deals 1 to 4 damage to one targeted enemy city.
Deploy Anti-Missle Battery - Uses one "Anti-Missle" ammunition. Blocks any attacks made by Missiles.
Deploy Anti-Aircraft Battery - Uses one "Anti-Aircraft" ammunition. Blocks any attacks made by Bombers.
Propaganda - Needs no ammunition. Absorbs up to 6 population from one target enemy city and places that population in a friendly city. (In this way, a destroyed city can be rebuilt). However good this sounds, Propaganda can backfire, sending up to 6 population from a friendly city to the targeted enemy city.
Build Weapons - Needs no ammunition. You build 1 ammunition for every 25 population you currently control. (This always rounds up).
-Readied Actions-
Readied Actions means that it takes one turn to ready the action before you may fire. This includes Missiles, Bombers, and Submarines. These complex attacks must be loaded with a Warhead (Nuclear or Biological) in order to inflict damage. In this way, it takes two turns to use a Missile, Bomber, or Submarine (although you are not obligated to fire once the item has been readied! This can be used to force an enemy to waste their Anti-Missile/Anti-Aircraft Batteries.) For example, Bob readies a Bomber on January 1st. The next turn, January 2nd, he attacks Joe's city D with a Biological Warhead.
Missile - Uses one "Missile" ammunition. Can be loaded with either Nuclear or Biological Warheads.
Bomber - Uses one "Bomber" ammunition. Can be loaded with either Nuclear or Biological Warheads.
Submarine - Uses one "Submarine" ammunition. Can only be loaded with Nuclear Warheads.
-Warheads-
Nuclear Warhead - Uses one "Nuclear" ammunition. Deals 8 to 16 damage on one targeted city. Must be loaded in a Missle, Bomber, or Submarine.
Biological Warhead - Uses one "Nuclear" ammunition. Deals (1/5th city size) + (4 to 8)) damage on one targeted enemy city. Must be loaded in a Missile or Bomber.
-Writing Orders-
Orders must be sent to Sheldon Sandbekkhaug via a private Facebook Message. You can only write one order per turn. Note that as the game is played, abbreviations may come into use, and these are acceptable. Orders that are invalid will not be preformed, such as attempting to ready a weapon that you have no ammunition for, or attempting to attack a city that does not exist.
To attack with Soldiers, write "Soldiers attack [Player]'s city [Letter]."
e.g. "Soldiers attack Osama's city A"
To deploy an Anti-Missle Battery/Anti-Aircraft Battery, write "Deploy Anti-[Item] Battery."
e.g. "Deploy Anti-Missile Battery"
To use Propaganda, write "Use Propaganda on [Player]'s city [Letter]."
e.g. "Use Propaganda on Napoleon's city B"
To Build Weapons, write "Build Weapons."
e.g. "Build Weapons."
To ready a Missile/Bomber/Submarine, write "Ready a [Item]."
e.g. "Ready a Sumbmarine."
To fire a Missile/Bomber/Submarine, write "[Item] attacks [Player]'s city with a [Type] Warhead."
e.g. "Bomber attacks Stalin's city C with a Nuclear Warhead."
-Results-
After every player sends in their orders, I will send a group message out to the players. Attacks and changes to each city will be publicly broadcasted. Every few days will also bring a new report of each player's current cities and their current populations.
When a player has no cities left (population of 0 in each), they are eliminated.
***RANDOMIZATION***
All damage will be randomized with Random.org. Similarly, all Weapons that are built will be randomized by the said site. However, not every item has the same chance of being built. This helps to balance the relative strength of each weapon.
