Payne has been hard at work developing custom load screens for SC2 maps!



The purpose of this thread is to give out a bunch of options for SEN map-makers to help advertise our great community in their great maps. Of course, no one is obligated to do so, but we certainly appreciate the support. There is also the option of taking the .PSD of the logo that DevliN created to make your own (found in thread linked at the end of the post).

I don't know how the custom screen editor works, but I believe that you should move the SEN logo to the very top. This way you have advertisement on top and map information on middle and bottom instead of map information on top, advertisement on middle and map information on the bottom. Other than this, I think it looks great.

Unfortunately it centers it. We could make one with a ton of blank space underneath, however, to make it seem like it's coming from the top of the screen.

Bummer. If you do it that way does the game automatically resize the image to fit as intended or could a different screen resolution screw it up?

Pretty sure you can stretch it or display it normally.

I like the one without the border better. Good stuff guys.

Is it me or my Custom Loading Screens look ugly with the new patch?
It seems like B.net is resizing them and it decreases their quality drastically.
Could someone confirm please?

Should change "pushing Starcraft to the limit" to "pushing Starcraft2 to the limit".

Starcraft stands for all three games, therefore I would leave it as it is.

For sure "StarCraft" stays as it is.
But recently, I wondered about the "Map-Making Community" part: is it really appealing?

Make "mapmaking" one word or change it to "mapping"?

EDIT: Try lowercasing the whole phrase (or small-caps-ing it) and bolding/coloring/emphasizing the "S", "E", and "N" in the SEN logo.

"Mapping," "mapper," and the like are not real works. Neither are "mapmaker" and "mapmaking."

"Map-maker" or "map-making" would be the proper spelling.

I've always seen it as "map-making" or "map-maker." Or without a hyphen, even. Crazy stuff.
