Rules: each person only gets one turn untill I call the next round. If two people post for the same turn, I will only count the first post IF it is a tie between choices.

You're aware that it was never stated that each hallway you walk down is the same length...
Also, i'll play if you can make your posts a little more interesting, throw some description in there?

I think descriptions would help a lot. Therefore instead of "You reach a split, your options are to go left or down" you could say (using that map you posted), "You come across another split. To the left is a small curved path down a separate hallway. Straight ahead is too dark to make out details, but you think you can see what looks like another curve in the path."
Also, with that many paths, you should give the option to go backwards as well.

I think instead of only counting the first person to pick an option, you should allow everyone to vote for an option between turns, and then look at which option got the most votes. If there's a tie, then go to the one that got the most votes first. This allows everyone to have a say and participate.
