Metal gear solid : Rising.
I wet my pants when they should the amount of gore in that game. You can cut people, buildings, cars, and watermelons with your fucking katana sword thing. Multiple times and you get to choose exactly where to cut in that bullet time moment. I want to play it so bad D:. I wonder if you can keep cutting someone until your satisfied? Like Cut them into dust. This was one of my favorite games shown yesterday.

The New Forza game with Kinict (sp?)
I really thought Kinict was going to suck and like most of these other motion detection systems and such it felt like truly completing the goal that kinict was trying to achieve was to soon with our current technology. But.... It's actually pretty awesome and they are implementing it seamlessly with HD games like Forza. It was pretty cool when the guy used kinict to walk around the ferrari and then before (or after?) showd him driving the car in first person view with kinict. I really hope the detection for your movements isn't 'lossy' or weak because if it's not it's really going to change driving games imo. Also the Starwars light saber duels with Kinict. lul.

I'm just waiting for a leisure suit larry game to come out for Kinict

I missed the EA and ubisoft part. Some one care to share some of the highlights?

Sounds like a ton of butt hurt. I saw E3 because I saw it live with my shut in friend huddled on his bed indian style with his covers covering everything but his face. All he was missing was a ':3' face. He complained about how "Man i aint buying that shit. I dont wanna get up and dance and move. Too much work". I called him a gigantic faggot and told him to think of the possibilities. I think Dance central is a GREAT idea the only problem i saw with it was that (I'm assuming from what I saw) the character doesn't move to your controls, what you do only affects the circle under the character in game. That seemed like such a huge flaw. I would have preferred some sort of ghost placed over the human controlled character as the rhythm showing thing. These things really shine when you invite your friends over.

Yea they are going for the bigger community like wii did. I wouldn't worry about kinicts price. Guitar hero came out at 100 didn't it? And thats only useful for one game or a couple of others if you plug into your pc and play indie games.

The gaming industry isn't more 'dead' than it has ever been. If people want a new system then they can switch to the always upgrading master race PC. If not they can buy an 'upgrade' to their console with kinict. Anyways I consider the livelihood of the gaming industry based more on Game developers and their choices then the console developers as they make a couple of choices every once in a blue moon. Thank god for indie and classics.

IMO I sense a lot of fat kids complaining about moving around. I want to start complaining about kinict when I actually play it and get a feel for how responsive the controls are. Thats really the only make it or break it for me. Also that article lacked Forzas use of Kinict which seems genius so far (waiting to find out how responsive kinict is). Bunch of haters yo.

Metal gear solid is played using kinect? Wtf? Are you sure? Thats ... lame. I assumed the slicing was done with analog controls.

Pikmin 3 <3

They didn't mention Pikmin 3. Other things they didn't mention, but are on Nintendo's site; Remake of Ocarina of Time and Starfox 64 for 3DS.

Nintendo wins. Hands down. New Kirby, new Donkey Kong Country, new Legend of Zelda that looks like a true successor to OoT, an AUTO-STEREOSCOPIC HANDHELD, launching with a new Kid Icarus games, and capable of better graphics than the Gamecube. And 3D videography. Goldeneye, Golden Sun, Metroid, so on and so forth.

And then Pokemon Black and White and Pikmin 3, which they didn't even care enough to mention.

The only ways possible now that anyone else could top Nintendo is if Harmonix announces they got Led Zeppelin for Rock Band 3, Gabe Newell comes back and announces Source Engine 2 with Half-Life 2: Episode 3, and all other game updates, or, the final trump card that would defeat all others, Capcom announces they've begun work on MegaMan Legends 3, which they've said would cost about $15,000,000 to produce.

I haven't been really watching it, but the new Nintendo 3DS looks like the nicest thing debuted. Ah, if only I were five years younger today.

Nintendo always has the best exclusive games because that is what we all grew up playing whether it be the old-farts on the NES, the modern farts on the SNES or the young farts on the N64. We all had fun playing those games so, in our minds, we know that the games on the horizon for Nintendo are going to be gold.

With the jump Nintendo made to bring everyone into gaming with motion sensors working, it was only a matter of time before competitors would do the same. So now we have a whole new industry of gaming where people have to get up and move, and this style has been targeted for every member of the family. Naturally, us casual gamers are not going to be thrilled about the sudden move across the remaining consoles, but that does not mean we cannot give them a chance. Besides, not every game on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 is going to suitable for every member of a family. This will rule out motion sensing.... Hopefully.

I do not know about anyone else, but the news on Rock Band 3 was kind of cool to me. The Pro Mode offers a whole new challenge as you now need to play real guitar and bass, or at least pretend to a greater degree than before. I find the gameplay to be like reading tabs. The drums Pro Mode might be a little confusing as three markers share the same colors. Then there is the new instrument, the keyboard. It also doubles as the real deal, so that should be an interesting challenge to learn. No word on if the vocal harmonies can be played online yet, but I have my fingers crossed.

It wasn't news for E3, we've known that for a few days. I am excited as hell, but I can't stress how difficult it's going to be to follow.



That's what the Expert Pro Guitar gameplay looks like. Each colour represents a string; EADGBe from left to right. The number represent the fret. I've 5 starred the hardest Rock Band song on expert guitar, and played actual guitar for a few years. I can't follow it fast enough to translate it into hand movements.

What I'm most excited about is Keyboard. But it'll crush me if they don't update the old songs to have it when you import DLC, because I have Baba O'Reiley waiting.

As far as I know you can play Vocal Harmonies online in The Beatles, so it should carry over. 7 Player is going to be so cramped on a screen. I am super excited to find out the rest of the setlist though, and crossing my fingers for Wipeout by The Ventures.

Yeah, pro guitar and drums looks like something that only people who really absolutely have too much time on their hands would get into.

Personally, I/ think it's a lot more fun just to play expert, which IMO is enough of a challenge in and of itself for some songs. Honestly, the "pro" instruments are just taking the whole rock band thing too far.

As far as translating the guitar, what it looks like is going on there is a slide. It's gonna turn into who can memorize the song the best, as I doubt anyone could pick up a guitar on a new song on pro and just play it like you can with expert guitar.

Portal 2. Christmas began early!

Did they announce the release date for Duke Nukem Forever yet?

What I meant was to be able to play Vocals with two other people online who are also on Vocals. This has a lot of buzz going. Currently, you can play Harmony Vocals online, but only with local friends/family on the other microphones with you.

For the setlist, I have already called out most of what they have before it was announced, and I am content. However, I will not be happy until I see Yes announced. I mean, come on! Rock Band 3 gets a keyboard instrument; Yes has songs with awesome keyboard rifts. Bring on Roundabout! Watch me jinx it, and Owner of a Lonely Heart is announced instead...

Kirby is my second favorite game.
The only thing I'm concerned about is that I didn't see Kirby eat any enemies... that was one of my favorite things about the series.

I looks like complete garbage like most of the wii games look. It looks so slow and when I saw the trailer I was like... wut? No plot whatsoever, gameplay wasn't at all insteresting, it looked dull and slow like I said before + plastic graphics that looked even worse than windwaker, at least windwaker WAS supposed to be cartoony. There was nothing new, the only thing new was the name.

I am completely disappointed. N64 games, graphically, look better than most of wii games, it's like if they didn't try anymore.


Golden Sun DS is keeping my faith on Nintendo ever since I found out last year.

Other than Portal 2, I am looking forward to Medal of Honor, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Crysis 2, Dead Rising 2, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Little Big Planet 2, Twisted Metal and Mortal Kombat.

Maybe Bullet Storm, Gears of War 3, Goldeneye 007, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Killzone 3, Halo Reach, FEAR 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Metal Gear Solid Rising. And I hope Fable III does not fail like its predecessor but it does seem promising.

They attempted to make it less dark and dreary looking than TP. Thats all fine. It also looked really cool. I don't see how it seemed slow or dull to you, but to me, it looked to be on the same pace as all the other zelda games.

They also didnt release the plot because they want to keep it more of a secret. When TP was announced, all we knew was that link would be able to turn into a wolf. Seriously, it's not like nintendo hasnt done this kind of reveal before.

I just think Corbo hates nintendo.
