In case you've been living under a rock, the "tea party movement" is a grass roots campaign against anything the involves raising taxes on the top %10 of Americans. Somehow it's organizers have tricked many lower income evangelicals into following them. When you ask them for 1 specific thing they are against, nothing comes out.

These "tea party" people are probably the dumbest people I've ever seen. I get a real kick out of watching them being interviewed. I'll post all the good ones I've found:

I'm also tempted to post Sarah Palin book signing events. Those are even dumber.

I watched the entire first video, and a few seconds of the second video. As much as I already know this type of behavior happening quite a lot and seen it a few times since before the 2008 election, it is making me feel sick. It's really, really unbelievable but it's happening right before our eyes.

Sigh. And that one lady never heard of Canada if she said Americans have the best Health Care in the world.

You know a guy is smart when he is holding a "Thank you Glenn Beck" sign.

You've got a few wackos on your side, too. Feel free to bash it because it's on Glen Beck's show. That'll make her look less stupid.

Hooray for ill-educated people who spout trite political phrases.

'It's Socialist!'

Well duh - of course it is in principle. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing, or that the world is about to end.

People of SEN: DO NOT USE FOX NEWS AS A CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCE.
Use yahoo news and msnbc

I only saw the first video. Intelligence is always lost to someone.

As much as I like Yahoo! news, the comments under the articles can support both sides, but majority tries to promote the side of Fox news, apparently. It is literally to see a comment of hate receive so much positive thumbs, while a mention of supporting the democrats may lead to a lot of thumbs down.

There are people who accuse msnbc being the opposite of Fox News. As for me, I do not necessarily take the opinions of any news source but I do read them. Just not Fox News.

That last sentence is lulz-worthy, especially a year in to the Obama presidency. Are you enjoying the booming economy as much as I am?

Link isn't working right. The quote is on the page before the linked one.

What are the repercussions [of Obama winning]? There is a likely chance of a near-instant respect and admiration from the world again, peace in Iraq, and a booming economy aren't worth it?

This thread pretty much shows the big problem with the media: It's all so sensationalist. It's clear the both sides just took ill-informed people--i.e. a great portion of our population--so they could make a hasty generalization about the party being attacked. Really, though, if you don't know anything about something, don't march down the streets in protest of it.

Thank you, was that so hard?

I remember seeing that a long time ago, and it motivated me care more about why I believe what I believe. Still, in comparison to dumb tea party people, dumb democrats are much better. They laughed and acknowledged their own ignorance, and reflected on how they should really educate themselves more.

Another good video though, any more?

Does it not worry you that these ill-informed people can vote?

And that is just one of the many stupid things that are written on the shirt of that woman in the first clip @8:22.
These persons are totally ridiculous. I love it when they claim to know what's in the bill and then the guy asks for a precision about the passage in the bill itself and they just go "In fact, I've never really read it : Fox news resumed it to me. By the way, I recommend Fox News!"

Does it not worry you that these ill-informed people can reproduce?
As quoted from a local newspaper section where people can call in and ask for things to be "shouted out"
Quote
And this week's Darwin Award goes to the caller who observed that if Bill Clinton had not been dallying with Monica Lewinsky, he would have caught Osama bin Laden. I suppose if he had not been busy playing his saxophone, he would have found a cure for cancer, too. I don't know which is scarier -- that such enlightened people are allowed [to] vote or that they are capable of reproduction
The "to" was omitted likely due to error.

You know what the funniest thing about that is? In 1998, Osama bin Laden was linked to American embassy bombings in Tanzania and Kenya. Clinton responded by launching a series of cruise missiles at Al Qaeda and other terrorist organisations in Afghanistan and Sudan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_United_States_embassy_bombings

At the time, republicans loudly lambasted this response by Clinton as him trying to draw attention away from the newly-broken Lewinsky scandal ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Afghanistan_and_Sudan_(August_1998) ).

Funny that in retrospect, Clinton was doing exactly the right thing, and if he'd succeeded killing Bin Laden, September 11 may never have happened...

NudeRaider -- PSA: ASUS apparently decided their RMA department needs to "become profitable" and for a while now outright tries to scam customers. They were called out on it a year ago, promised to change, but didn't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pMrssIrKcY so my recommendation: Stop buying ASUS, and if you already have and need something RMA'd, make sure to not let them bully you into paying.
