You heard me, a new ass kick CTF map is being made. While this looks like the 3rd map in my CTF series, this is going to me much more. Units packs have already served well in 2 CTF maps, this time we're going for all new ability system. It's something similar to spells but not quite the same. Skills like tactics, macro, micro and using your dropship inventory will be required. Oh and this one will have bots!!

After dozens of battles in CTF league. Engineers decided that they are too good for this. They united and made their own league in MechFort. The league becomes popular and drags engineers from all across the Starcraft universe. Battle in MechFort and prove the be the best engineers in the new league.

and can your CTF map beat Fuel Tactics Arena? (attached) .. because I have yet to see any flag related games with spells and shit more intense than that

The bot thing definitely got my attention. This ai better be good. and are you going to have bot difficulties? like experienced mediocre and beginner or whatever?

StarFort had a better terrain and a successful tourney!
Please don't tell me you haven't played CTF StarFort and CTF DustFort! They are without doubts the best CTF maps ever made.

About the fuel arena. The gameplay will be slightly different. I've already beat the terrain! In MechFort there are 18 abilities, 16 of them have 5 levels. Countless possible combos. Abilities are based on 3 different roles in teamplay. Defense, Offense and flag. You play as SCV. I'll list the abilities for feedback. If you're wondering, then the shields float on top of your SCV and make it invincible while they're up.

I've finished with abilities, now starting with bots. There will be up to 5 bots in each team. Might add difficulty settings, but can't tell if I will right now.

That desert terrain is beyond sexy. I'll for sure play this (I've never really played a CTF map before)

While this is still being made try StarFort and DustFort, they're awesome too.

I disliked StarFort, I'm not sure why.

Offense and Defense bots ready!! There will be up to 5 bots in each team. 2 offense, 2 defense and 1 flag runner. So with a full house it's like 8 vs 8 battle, in SC1!

How did you take a screenshot of all the map? It would be really useful to know, thanks.

I made 100 different screenshots and put them all together in Photoshop.

Actually SCMDraft2 has a feature to save the entire map as an image. The button is next to save button.

Flag runner bots done. Offense and Defense bots upgraded, a lot. Just spend a hour watching bots stomping each other. Well 5v5 looked fun, I wonder how 8v8 is going to be!

Update: Flag triggers done, I think.

I'm intrigued. I don't really play much SC anymore, but I'll try to catch you to play this sometime. When it's done, of course.
