I've tried to find some software, but nothing works[2021-3-18. : 9:15 am] IlyaSnopchenko -- Hmm, unchecking "draw if cloaked" is a good idea, I think it might make it even better[2021-3-18. : 8:38 am] DarkenedFantasies -- I think a 4th reason I just realized is that the building graphics also don't become visible again when appearing in the fading edge between visible and explored fog. He changed the tileset\install\dark.pcx file to make explored fog the same as unexplored, but pretty sure he did that to be obnoxious to the player rather than attempting to hide cloaked buildings.[2021-3-18. : 8:23 am] DarkenedFantasies -- After looking at a playthrough video, since it's a mod, my guess is that they have one or more units either using a custom blank grp or cloaked & "Draw if Cloaked" off, and gave them the damage overlays for the flames. I suppose without a mod, the solution for creating them over cliffs and/or avoid collision with other units would have been to use lifted terran buildings but there are multiple reasons that make me think it's a modded unit: 1) You need detection/shared vision of the buildings and lose it to make them appear invisible, but the flames appear in direct view without any buildings flashing into existence. 2) I don't know if it's possible to get rid of the shadows left behind by the cloaked buildings without EUDs or modding. 3) None of them appear to have any collision with units walking next to them.[2021-3-18. : 7:33 am] NudeRaider -- Without having seen the map I would assume they moved the bunker away (or removed it?) which makes the illusion perfect. Can't remember how exactly the procedure works though. If you're still interested, you could tell me what it is from that map that you're wondering about and I might be able to provide an answer. there were the burning things in some parts of map 2 (it was the only one protected) that I'd be curious about, looking like fires burning simply on the terrain.
