All levels are tested and possible.
Once you've finished the 7 levels available, you will have to beat one last "secret" level: it is rather hard (even harder than the Data Disc's level, IMO).

I think the Nydus Canal is rather perfect.
The Data Disc is very good too, but boring to play with noobs since it is so hard.
Reaver is fun to play when no one cheats too =)
In fact, I love all of my levels, but it's not like that for everyone ;)

Personally, I found the DT level interesting, though I cannot apply it to a whole level without making it look dumb. I'd have added it to my Final Level, but it has no medic involved ;o
Moreover, doing it with vHPs like you suggested would make it even more buggy, I think.
What about the difficulty? I've completely changed the Nydus Canal level, by the way. It's now 3 separated islands you must beat. The other version was way too long and easy.

I tried the warbringer mission, and I could see a zergling constantly unburrowing at the warbringer (possibly moving a burrowed unit to it to slow it down?). After losing the first, on the second mission I killed the civilians holding WB in place before the time ran out, so it started running, and the enemies did not attack it. I think you should consider adding in Cecil Sunkure's dt idea, that was pretty cool. Although it was a bit buggy sometimes. I'd also suggest using a counter for each dt's hitpoints, like with burrowed zerglings that get killed by the enemies for their hp instead of actually dying. You should probably know how to do that, so yeah.
