High School is the best thing that is ever going to happen to you, YOUR WHOLE LIFE. Easiest place to make friends, great social life, easy work, and everything is all chill. I suggest you take advantage of it, but don't fuck up in your grades. Doing a lot of extra activities, community service, internship can really help you in your social life as well as a HUGE bonus for college & scholarships.
I'm in college right now, well I just got here and it's my freshman year. Everything sucks ass because I have to fend for myself. No one helps me and I have to find out announcements by myself. You have to buy your own books and stuff but the school work isn't changed drastically. It is do-able (at least for my college), but the social life is GAYYY! I have no friends right now, especially since I'm very quiet in new places (Ironic cause I was the most popular kid in my school). College is really weird for me because you have classes with 2nd year students and maybe even 3rd year students. It is also hard for me to call my teachers "Professors". But it's not that difficult. I'm getting by, hopefully I won't break down from the 1 hour travel by subway everyday.
I'm not really experiencing the college life because I have no lecture halls, dorms, or any other cool things. Hopefully I'll transfer by next year into a dorm and things would get better.

I couldn't disagree more. College has way more hot chicks, plus you get to pick from tons of guys so you can find some cool ones. I love the independent lifestyle, and I HATED HS. So constricted... But whatever you're into. Echo, when life gives you lemons, do the dirty with hot chicks
None.
My school doesn't have hot chicks. None of them caught my eyes. This was my safety school, and it is full of immigrants and it is located in the projects (Ghettos).

PSH. W/E! We're all silent cool badass streetfighters that don't try hard to be cool, and just are.
I miss Akar.
School fights are nothing in NYC. You see the suspendee the next day. Why do you miss Akar?

I'm a sophomore right now, and I go to one of the
nerdiest top schools in the country, so I can't really say much about the average high school experience.

Echo, transfer over here to the University of Texas, it'll give you a blast ;D
As for high school, back when I was in it, I didn't really get the most out of it. I kind of regret it, even to this day, but what's past is past.

Middle School<High School<Elementary School<College<Job.
If it's not in this order, you're doing/did it wrong.
Middle School just plain sucks, mostly due to douchebaggery and hormones.
High School is a huge step up, since you actually get to take classes you want to take, you have quite a bit more freedom, making it much easier to skip/eat lunch wherever you want/actually take challenging courses. I went to an IB school which had a tech wing, so I got to take both of those. Three years of electronics really made college circuits simple. CET was bs, though. I ended up loading Worm World Party onto the server so that everyone could play it over the LAN, and we just did that all class.
Elementary School was awesome, because you can only remember the cool parts, and the stupid parts you've forgotten about. Plus, it's always nice to go back and see your teachers and make them feel really old.
College, while mostly a waste of time, is quite nice. You actually get to enjoy the majority of your classes, and you can finally not give a damn about your grades, since they don't matter anymore. Keep in mind that classes teach you much more than you need to know, and don't teach you about a quarter of what you need to know.
Once I get into actually doing my job, I'll be doing the same thing as college, but much less broad, and I'll be getting paid to do it.

Hell no.
Do you live/go to college near Pratt? Because if you do, see if you can find this one really tall asian dude called Jeff Lee who does animation. Then when he comes back to Austin, you can stuff yourself in one of his suitcases.
None.
College is cooler than high school.
Reasons:
- I'm in college
- Girls are more affable, and there is never the question of age.
- Everyone is cooler.
- If I don't want to go to class today, I won't.
- Bigger/better tools for experiments/classes makes for more fun.
- We get free buses at my college. (Although high school gets buses, you can't get off anywhere you want.)
- You meet new people from far away.
- You can travel far away.
- My college has a super cool library/theatre/symphony orchestra, which beats highschool's book room/dark room with boxes/fat kid with flute. (Things are more professional.)
- People actually start caring about what you think.
- Drugs are easier... Not saying anything here.
- You can say your in college, and everyone who isn't thinks highly of you.

Pratt is 1 hour away from me from mass transportation. I'll tell my friend to hold up a sign to look for Jeff and I'll climb up his butt so when he comes back, I'll suprise fondle you.
