Relatively ancient and inactive

What classes are you taking?
I R Taek:
  • Honors Pre-Calculus (I could probably have taken Calculus, but that would leave nothing for senior year!)
  • US History (World was interesting.. this isn't)
  • Biology (Egh)
  • Health (Hand in hand with Bio, though more interesting, it seems)
  • US Literature (Not my first choice  )
  • AP Java (I R very liking it. Year-long course to prepare for the AP test in Java - I'm sure I'll be able to do pretty nice stuff at the end. Probably'll help a bit with PHP, too.)
  • AP French (ARGH. My school requires three years of foreign language. I'm up to the AP level, so I have to take either this or another language. The crappy thing? The class testaverage here is probably a 65% or so. I had this teacher last year for half a year, now I get a full year, AP-style. ARGH.)
So, that sums up my life. You folks?

I got in software engineering this year for university, so these are the classes I get:
  • Ordinary Differential Equations
  • Intermediate Calculus (comes after integral calculus)
  • Geographer's perspective to environmental issues + Introduction to Ecology and Evolution as complementaries (I did NOT want bio, but the other options gave me a crappy schedule or conflicts)
  • Introduction to programming, basically learning the basics (what is a program? what is a variable? how do I output Hello World?) And we use Java for most comp courses in the program.
I unfortunately don't get any meaningful programming courses until next semester.
And hopefully, I'll get around to debugging my AddFileToArchive function so I can put out a new version of my MPQ dll, I finished it like 2 months ago, but I don't like debugging.

English language ends in high school, on the other hand, English Literature is for college.
Fund of Math is fund of math.

Senior Year High School

Semester 1:

'Honors' Psychology
AP Calculus
Law & Ethics
AP Physics
Creative Writing

Semester 2:

World History Survey
AP Calculus
AP Physics
Mythology (the class is 'Creative Writing and Mythology' but it's split by semesters)

I might add another class to Semester 2 if anything cool fits in. I really like my schedule. Got some really good teachers and it has a nice balance of those high level classes and just the classes that I want to take.

O, and just a side note, AP Physics is 2 periods every day.

Informational technology age something or another. Stuff I dont care about and am only taking 'cause it's a requirement.

Fucking community college. It's like grade 13

Unless you have advanced coarses in your school or college now program, you're going to have to take it in CUNY.

For us, if you don't have AP English, we have to take Rhetoric (aka freshmen composition) and literature. No matter what you do, you have to have credit for this.

IMO i think its much easier to take it in community colleges or even any normal university than in high school. In college, they really don't care, they only give you like simple objective tests over your readings.

You can take as many as you're up for. Just go talk to your counselor to add one if you want. Or maybe it's too late for this semester.

Sophomore in highschool, classes in order of my schedule:
  • Jazz band
  • Symphonic band
  • Biology
  • Pre-calculus
  • World History
  • Language Arts
  • Spanish 1
  • History of Aircraft Design
  • Debate or Robotics...
Symphonic band is zero-hour (actually, first period at a different school that starts before mine), would that make Jazz Band -1 hour?

Also, Debate or Robotics would be after school, both are teams.

Class difficulty increases, hours don't necessarily increase.
For my university, we engineers can only take a minimum of 14 but a maximum of 17 hours. No exceptions.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Water Quality Modeling
Introductory Geometics
Biological System Instrumentation
Senior Design
Communication for Engineering/Technology
Web Page Development
FE Exam Prep
Marching Band

Holy fuck, I'm taking 8 classes. 18 Hours, but 2 of those are bs (marching band/web page).

MA, I'm surprised you have min/max hours like that. Ours are anywhere from 12-21, I think. The 5 year plan is so nice. If you ever have to take statics/thermodynamics, make sure you get a decent teacher, and drop it if you don't understand it or do poorly on the first test. They only get harder. The second time around, it's much easier.

CHEM 331 Physical Chemistry
CHEM 402 Inorganic Chemistry
CHEM 324 Organic Chemistry Lab

PHIL 322 Ethics

I'm taking it light this year (15 credits) because I also hold a job and wish to conduct some research. (Although I'm going to miss having a math class. :( )
P.S. Guess My Major.
