Most novels based off games are well... yea...
Stories that aren't original (in the case of a game story) has a lower success rate of getting popular, generating money, and even going into production into the first place.

No, I didn't say novel based on a game, I said novel.

I guess my most recent post was irrelivent then...
But still, a novel FOR a game needs to have those characteristics.
