Alright i'm making a map and im having some problems with a few triggers ive tried many ways but it just doesn't seem to workout for me so here i am.

OK FIRST OFF i want whenever my hero kills a zerg egg i want 2 broodlings to come out of that exact egg i just killed so i need some detection triggers obviously probably like moogles barrel explosion triggers.

if anyone could help me out on this it would be greatly appreciated. thank you

HERO KILLS ZERG EGG
2 BROODLINGS SPAWN WHERE EGG WAS KILLED
BROODLINGS ATTACK HERO
HERO KILLS BROODLINGS
HERO WINS ^-^;;

Predator of Bed Chambers

Create a burrowed unit under the egg. Have one location that will roam around the map checking if the egg is still alive. If egg is still alive just give the burrowed unit to another computer player and move on. Once the normal host whom owned the burrowed unit original has none of the burrowed units just give it back, if bring 0 egg n one burrowed unit to the location just remove the burrowed unit n make the broodlings.



If all else fails, crowbar the fucker

Place eggs far enough apart so only 1 can be in location hero at a time, location hero must encompass the maximum range of the hero unit.

the following pseudotriggers are in correct order(all are preserved and should run for same player)

switch hatch is set
egg player brings 0 zerg egg to egg
create 2 broodlings at egg
play broodspawn wav

always
center location hero on hero

egg player brings 0 zerg egg to hero
clear switch hatch

egg player brings at least 1 zerg egg to hero
center location egg on egg
set switch hatch

    This is what AntiSleep[NUB] had said but with a little twist in part 4 of the triggers. You would need to center the location 'Egg' on the hero because what if you had multiple eggs? Then that would lead in maybe a different egg being with the location and then the triggers not being able to work.

    I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

    Moogle's solution is the best and will work.

    My solution would work just fine, location egg is 1x1, and if the hero walks away from the egg, nothing happens, zerglings only spawn if the egg dies while in the location hero.

    The advantages over moogle's system are the unit count(not having to place a burrowed zergling under each egg), and time to detect the egg death and spawn broodlings(that is if you don't want to duplicate the trigger as many times as you have eggs)

    The disadvantage is that you cannot place eggs as close to each other.

    i used moogled barrel system and justed changed it do spawn broodlings instead of explode and it works fine, when my map is finished ill put up a demo and sum screenshots. to show how it will work.

    I made a comment mistake and am too lazy to reupload the map. The second trigger with the comment "Create Zerglings" detects if there is an egg at the spot and gives it back.
