recall trouble

can't seem to get a recall on command. tried a few different things:

trig 1

brings corsair to 'build zone' (it's ontop of a stargate)
-
create 1 arb at 'arb loc'
kill all cors

trig 2

brings arb to 'arb loc'
-
run ai script cast recall at 'recall loc' (moving loc centered on a ghost)
kill all arb

now i tried giving the arbiter to a neutral player, com, and the current player and none worked. it's for looks so it isnt necessary, but it'd be nice if someone could help

There are probably a few things you're doing wrong:

A. The Arbitor doesn't have enough energy.
B. The Arbitor doesn't have Recall researched (I don't think thats possible though.)
C. You're using a Hero Arbitor. Hero Arbitors do not function to do that AI Script, only normal Arbitors do.

I think he may also be killing the arbiter too fast, he kills it in the same order he gives it the order, so I don't think it gets time to execute the spell before it is killed.

Actually I think Hero Arbiters work as well.

The Arbiter needs to be owned by a comp and the comp needs the AI script trigger.

make sure if the arb is owned by p1 the trigger is for p1. i know kinda obvious but nobody mentioned it

lets see.... its researched and theres enough energy, normal arb, it's alive for about 5 seconds, shoulda mentioned all that i guess

alright here's the full triggers

trig 1 all players

current pl command at least 1 ghost
current bring 1 corsair to build zone
-
kill 1 corsiar
create 1 arb for pl 7 (com) at arb zone
wait 5k mil (while the arb is supposed to recall for warp effect)
create 1 bc
wait 1300 mil
kill all bc
kill all arb
preserve

trig 2 p7 (com)
p7 bring at least 1 arb to arb zone
-
center loc 'recall' on ghost owned by foes at anywhere (com and ghost aren't allied)
execute recall at 'recall'
wait 1500 mil
execute recall
wait 1500 mil
execute
preserve

soooooo still doesn't work.

try making a simple trigger under your conditions to see if it works,


[TRIGGER]

[DESCRIPTION]try this

[PLAYERS]
[*]1

[CONDITIONS]
[*]whatever.. elapsed time 10 seconds lets say

[ACTIONS]
[*]create arb for p1,
[*]execute AI-recall
[*]wait 5000ms lets say
[*]kill arb..end



You might want to modify energy to 100% after you create arb, unless recall costs 0.

If the above trigger dont work for then your doing something wrong.
