I used to think the game was shitty and was taking all of Blizzard's attention away from Starcraft. (Which it is) But i recently tried it on a friend's account and loved it. I have now bought my own account and have a level 36 Bloodelf on the realm Barthilas (Oceanic). If you play post your faction/race/class. If you don't, why not.

One of my roomates a couple years ago was a WoW addict. Seriously, all he does is play WoW. He even skips some of his classes, locks himself in his room, and plays WoW till nightfall. You can hear him chatting with his WoW buddies through Ventrillo or w/e everyday. Unsurprisingly his GPA suffered.

Okay, people like that need to get away from WoW. But really not everyone gets addicted to it. I only play it a few hours a day, not even everyday. Honestly I dont find it addicting, I just find it as a fun way to not be bored...

No. I think it's a bad game.

Heh wow, 11 million people. I thought atleast SOMEONE here would have played it

I have two characters on a friend's account which I haven't used in over 9000, and I went over to a different friend's house and he had me grind honor on his shaman (lol, I can't believe I just said that), but other than that, no. I has nuu money.

I play it now and then. Nothing hardcore, just for fun when I'm bored etc. Got a 70 BOOOOMKIN! (Tauren Balance Druid) on EU-Runetotem. I usually just go PvP as the PvE content sucks in TBC.
No, the game is shitty its a 2nd job that you have to pay for instead. The only fun I ever had in it is doing arena's with friends and its stupid to say the game was fun because of that because I could have had fun playing any game with them.

I did. but as soon as i realized it would take a shit ton of time i quit because i like real people instead.

There should be an option for both. Because I play both.

I play casually.
In 2005, I had a human warlock named Doodan which I got to level 50 or so before I got tired of playing. I deleted that character. Now I have a blood elf priest named Cornwallace that's level 62. It's taken me 6 months to get to level 60, lol.

.. I used to play and will probably play a bit again. I have a badly geared 70 mage (Centreri@Deathwing) (well, blues/fewPVPepix) and a level 26 druid on the same. Horde > alliance.

YOu can play WoW and have a life. Seriously, its just a game. I can play the game and still say I have a life. As you can play Starcraft and say that you have a life
None.
Nope. Never played, never will. A couple hours of WoW a day doesn't count as addicted, Snipe)r(?
EDIT: Actually, it depends how much a couple is.

No. Even if it is as great as some say it is, I'm not going to pay a monthly fee for it, a complete waste imo. For $15 a month you could do other stuff.

Like go see a movie or go out for lunch. Oh wait, you did that and now you've already spent 20 bucks and it's only been one day. Shit... now what are you going to do for the other 29 days in the month?
