Low money to fastest?

i was thinking since me and my freinds play low money and fastest map 24/7. is it possible to make a map that has like 50 stacked minerals at start (becuase u cant place 50 stacked minerals with triggers). and then before the game starts u have P1 choose wether u want it fastest or low? im not exactly sure how it would work but im kinda intrested in making this since i know basic triggering in sc.

i would assume ud have preplaced stacked minerals for fastest and then if u were to chose low u would use triggers to spawn the 1.5k minerals around the field. So can anyone give me and ideas hwo this would work exactly? i could probly find out my self but their probly a simpler way with better use of triggers.

I'd say have them all preplaced, and just remove the ones that the player doesn't want.

Like Killer_Kow Said, Just place the 50(stacked) Minerals where you want them, Then At the start have p1 Choose the mode like (Low,Medium,High) Then depending on what he picked just have them remove off the stack, like "P1 bring 1 Civ to "Low" "Remove "45"Mineral patch at "Minerals "A" etc.

ah i just thought of something that i think would be much easier. Cant i give the fastest minerals and geyser to p9? and then the lowmoney to p10? can i use a trigger that would be

Condition
p1 brings civ to "Low"
Action
Remove all p9's units
(sorry i havnt opened up scmdraft in years)

I don't think Minerals/Geysers Will show in starcraft if not owned by P(12).

minerals can be owned by p1-12 and still show up im pretty sure that player just needs to be there...but then i c your point ;).
EdIT: nvm i just tried it with p9 and his minerals showed up.

Eh? Scmdraft always tells me Resources not Owned by P(12) Will not show In Game :-(

Units not owned by p12 do not show in melee games. But everything is fine for UMSs.

okay another problem. I guess when i put every player to " user selected" to pick their own race it doesnt allow for preplaced units for that player. so know im trying to find a way to give the civ to the host but still have random start locations. i think this is done using switches? im not too fimiliar with them so can somone help me out with this?

okay this is what im trying

Trigger
Players

  • All players
  • Conditions

  • Always
  • Actions

  • Give all terran civilian owned by neutral players* at'anywhere' to player 1


  • this is what i was hoping for to make it so that the nuetral preplaced civilian would go to p1. thought it fails becuase i think i shoudlnt of put "neutral players" and im not sure what i should put instead.

    Use randomizer to randomly select locations.

    Use the trigger:

    Players: Host.
    C: Current player commands 1 building.
    A: Create 1 civilian at "select" for Current player.

    I just checked it. It works great.
