I am still looking for someone that can recreate the supposed location properties freeze, and am open to fix any other bugs.

dont know if its much of a bug but trigedit doesn't display in the "trigger" flip down menu. I think its simply because you didn't include the plugins in the newest build

the next bug i've had for some time and it always finds its way to annoy me. If you place a doodad on the map and then you switch over to like placing units or something. And then you go to the dropdown menu at the top to select terrain, doodads, fog of war, etc. And you select doodads, you cannot actually select a doodad with your pointer unless you actually click doodads on the side menu first.

ive never had the location properties freeze bug.

When I go into copy/paste and try to use it on a doodad, I get the terrain under the doodad, i.e. I use copy on a ramp and it pastes dirt. Also, sometimes it gets stuck pasting the same thing when I'm doing terrain and I can't select something new.

SCMDraft will randomly crash when asked to open large maps, then when restarted, will open them without difficulty.

Edit: If i remember correctly it was due to trigedit crashing when the map was loaded, or something like that.

dunno if this really counts but

in classic trigedit, when i move an action up (or down) in the list of actions passed the edge of the 'box' (so it cant be seen anymore) then scroll up to see it and try to move it again, the 'box' jumps back to where the trigger first was (but the action is still at where i moved it)

hmmm, hope i didnt work it in a confusing way o.0

o but to fix it i can just click on a different action then reclick on the action i was moving and the box wont jump back to the old position (just gotta do it every time i wanna move an action out of the immediate screen)

SI, would it be possible to allow multiple selection of triggers in Classic Trigedit? It would make copying a lot easer, also actions too.

Also, ZzEzZ, I get that problem too, and it's especially annoying...

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Can you add a individual size for the player/condition/action window?

1: Make sure to extract with folder structure
2: Brushes was fixed 6 months ago, maybe you oversaw when I linked it here.
3: Delete the backup database file. If that does not help, send me example maps.
4: zz...: I'll try and figure out what you mean
5: Multiple triggers is possible in theory, if I have time I'll look into the feasibility of doing that with my code setup
6: Dont know what you mean, the edit trigger window? and what do you mean with custom size? make it resizable?

When I was making a small 12x20 map I copied and pasted a lot of the terrain. I noticed that when you copied a tile or tiles that were out of the 12x20 limit, the game crashed. This is not a real problem but it gets annoying if your just starting the map with null terrain and you don't know where the end is or something.

When you copy (ctr + c) tiles outside of the 12x20 area, it crashes.

Here, I'll try to explain it again.

Let's say we have a trigger with 63 actions, you make a new action, and you want to move it to the top of the list of actions using Classic Trigedit, well, it moves up just fine at first, and you can see it moving, but once it gets to the top of the actions you can see, you no longer follow it, you stay at the bottom of the action list, not knowing where your action is, and if you try to scroll up and then move it, you just get bumped back to the bottom again.

Yeah and if you could make scmdraft remember window sizes that would be awesome!

I had a lot of bugs with the backup database (crashes randomly / upon opening) and with strings (gives annoying messages about string corruption everytime you open/close a window, even when strings are displayed fine).
Is there any chance you will fix the backup database issues? I reported that problem ages ago on your website.
Do you need more detailed information about string corruption errors? (I think it happened when I deleted a location which was named exactly like a comment, unit or other location.)

Also, can you make text boxes of the display text action scrollable? At least in the briefing. It's annoying that you cannot edit large texts.

Oh and a copy and paste (or "make copy of...") feature for locations and fog of war layer would be great.

Don't know if it's possible to improve that, but I'll mention it:
When you zoom out by the maximum factor it usually still doesn't show the whole map in the terrain window. And sometimes I want to select a large group of units or terrain and have to scroll (by moving to the edge of the screen) to select them/it all. Now that would be no biggie, but the scrolling is painfully slow when zoomed out.
So there's a few things that could improve it: (decreasing usefulness)
- Improve scrolling to make it faster
- Make a zoom that fits the map into the window
- Add the option (e.g. by pressing ctrl) to add units/terrain to the current selection.
If you could add any of those that would be great!

And btw. although we complain so much about it, ScmDraft is like a gift from the gods. Thanks for that great program. ;)

First of all, thanks for ScmDraft!

I really would like to see a working trigger tree in TrigEdit, allowing you to see all triggers (named by a comment or blank otherwise?) and instantly go to it when you (double) click on it.

Another thing concerning TrigEdit: when you try to compile and it gives you an error, it would be handy if you would immidiatly look at the line which has the error. Now you have to manually scroll through thousands lines of code.

Another thing I would find to me really useful is the following: when you select a group of units and open their properties you can (de)select them and edit their properties individually or in groups. It would be really great if their would be an option to select the units in the editor which you have selected in the property window.

The tree already works for me. Although it says it's buggy I never experienced a bug.

Hm yeah... lol. Don't know why I thought it doesn't work. Could swear I tried it and it didn't work. Maybe another version? Or I'm already senile. :lol:
Still either fast scroll or full view would be nice.

Also there seem to be issues with the new EUD feature. Care to clarify SI?
