Zelda is the best character. End of story. Kill anybody at 50% or higher, TYVM.

You cant say a character is the best based off of what % they can kill people. Because then Ganondorf or Captain Falcon would be the best.

Zelda, is one hell of a shitty character. You have to have perfect timing if you want to rank up damage. Other words, she can just be dodged and killed instantly. Sheik is much more better but Zelda, boy do people hate her. Plus Dedede woops all characters around. Even dedede. :P

We like Ike! We like Ike!

Average speed + heavy weight + heavy damage + Final Cutter ON FUCKING STEROIDS = Pwnwinage.

AUDI FARAM ILLUS! THAT MEANS YOU, IKE!

The only things I fail at as Ike are beating a good Pit, a good Falco, and recovering from flying massive distances. Sadly, Final Cutter on teh roids is better for use in spamming than saving yourself.

Also, is anyone else disappointed a bit with the online play? I don't really like how you can only play two minute timed matches against people you don't know... I'm going to have to find all of your friend codes.

Zelda > Sheik IMO. And perfect timing? Zelda's Up-Smash has a pretty big range and is one of her strongest attacks, along with her Midair Up attack. The only thing that really requires perfect timing of Zelda is her Midair Side attack, which is her kick. Hit the kick correctly and it does major, major damage.

You guys obviously don't know how to play Zelda/Sheik if you're using them separately. You're supposed to rack up damage with Sheik and then kill with Zelda. I'm not saying that you can't use each independently, but it certainly isn't optimizing their game play. Other than that, I'd just place Zelda/Sheik on par with Peach since they both got "balanced".

I would say I kick ass with Kirby and Peach! End of question! Can't beat me!

I started playing with Snake, and all I can say is that I fell in love with his style from the get go. His repertoire of explosives is versatile, he can really take a beating (I often get up to 225%+ damage before my friends kill me), and he feels really quick (to me). I'm not saying that he's the quickest character in the game, but he's responsive, and even his basic attacks do a nice amount of damage. Add in the godly Up+B he has to get out of many horrible situations, and Snake's a real powerhouse. It's at the point where I really just hate using any other characters anymore.

I'm not really good at the game, but for nubs like me, MetaKnight is hand down the best. I just mash A, it's soooo cash. His B's rule too.

May 24 2008, 1:59 pm Xx.Doom.xX Post #77

To hell with Meta Knight. He's too hard to control for me.

Lucas has one epic up-c attack, it rapes anything 60% if you time it right. He's my main. I also use Game&Watch and Fox.

This topic is still alive...wow.

EDIT: LONG AWAITED UPDATE FINALLY HERE. haha.

Thus proving Nintendo doesn't care if you're better than other players, they want their games to be as mindless as possible now.

We live in a society.

Aye. Brawl is a wonderful game, but it does seem to be less competitive than Melee.

May 24 2008, 7:02 pm Xx.Doom.xX Post #80

Brawl is definitely A LOT slower than Melee. Heck, I even was playing MKWii and hopped on to Brawl an hour later (I was in an internet tournament and had to face someone). I felt really slow and ended up losing. :/

I'm pretty sure Sakurai was forced to create Brawl, because everyone wanted another.
