HD: 160 GB toshiba HD i had linux on before, since my old computer's motherboard's sata drivers crashed windows.
Monitor: The same one as before. I will go to the grave with my 15" LCD

I think UrMom wins. Nothing beats a Q6600 and 8800 GT (S) as long as it's a G92.

I'm looking to upgrade soon, so I could concievably beat that with ~$500

I'm going to upgrade probably this summer to play oblivion better by getting a 65nm AM2 CPU of some sort, an HD 3850 or 8800 GTS, depending on whether or not I feel comfortable with nVidia's usual fail. Course I think I'd rather get an EeePC.
