Errgh! My PC's a mess: I built it myself, but I'll have a go at remembering my specs...
Here's some:
Windows 2000 Pro SP4 ,
Total Space: 190 GB:
Disk 1: 90GB NTFS,
Disk 2: 100GB NTFS.
CD Drives: 2 X HL-DT-ST DVD RW-E
Display: NVIDA GeForce FX 5200
[Output to ASUS Flatscreen VW192T]
Case: Own [Jet Black]
Fans: 5;
1X Internal-Intake Fan [150mm, Left Mount],
1X Rear-Port Fan [Tube Style [FROM Motherboard Fan TO Out], 100mm, Internal Mount],
1X On-Motherboard Fan [On Chip [Connects to tube from Rear-Port Fan], To Fit]
2X Circulation Fans [ 120mm [Front, Middle Mounting Location], Internal Mount]
Motherboard: Gigabyte DuoProcessor {Unknown Specs}

That's about all I can remember.
{And boy, I couldn't find a pin in there, there's so many cables, wires, looms and tubes, it kinda makes you sick!}

CPU: Athlon 64 X2 4000+ at 2.4 GHz each
RAM: 2 x 1GB Apacer DDR2-800... can't be bothered checking the page file
HDD: '160'GB Maxtor at 7200RPM
VC: Asus 8600GT
PSU: Thermaltake 430W
Optical Drive: Some 52x DVD-RAM drive...

It's not a massive beast, but it will at least run pretty much any game you care to name.

Crysis xD

WTF? It runs Crysis easily on medium settings, and it is still playable on high.

Yeah.. I pretty much bought it for ~$600 two years ago (when I finished Middle School) and since then upgraded video card and memory. It runs SC and WCIII flawlessly, and can average 30 FPS highest quality WoW in Azeroth and ~17-~24 in Outlands. Not that I play WoW anymore.

Athlon x2 6000
2x1gb corsair PC8500
HD - I have about 2 terabytes of HD space right now across 3 HD's including the new samsung 1tb, this bitch is fast
Mobo - Asus M2r32-MVP, cross-fire capable (I had intended to crossfire 2900's but decided not to in favor of an upgrade 1-2 years down the line for a quad core crossfire system)
Sound card - Asus Xonar d2; fuck creative and their shitty xi-fi, gave me so much trouble
Video card - ATI radeon 2900 XT
Moniter - Samsung Syncmaster 245T - that's 24" widescreen, I run UT3 at 1900x1200 at a constant 60fps on warfare necris with 31 bots (Its fps cap is 60)
OS - XP, of course!
Case - Antec 900 I think it was. I'd have to check. It's one of the more popular cases and was my second choice. It runs very quietly. I can't hear my CPU or my GPU or any of the fans in the case.
PSU - OCZ 600watt Xtremegamer or something, it's glowy
Speakers - Klipsch promedia 2.1, these are nice speakers I got yesterday

I have handed Crysis its own ass. The only games that can lag this machine is supreme commander and WC3. Wc3 lags because it's programmed by morons and supcom lags because its a cpu killer programmed by morons

The machine I bought yesterday to replace my old 9800 box that granny fried uses the following parts for a light $410 CAD;

Athlon x2 4400
2x1gb PC4600 corsair
Same mobo (Love that mobo, previous machine used an asus Nforce2)
ATI radeon HD 3540 lite (passively cooled)
OCZ 600w stealthgamer (yeah a bit overkill but it was very cheap, cheaper than lower-end psu's)

And recovered parts

120gb maxtor
$300 GSIF-compliant Terratec DMX 6fire soundcard
old case, dunno which it was

lol.

Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego @ 2.900ghz
1x1gb of PQI RAM @ 2-3-2-5 DDR440
7900GS RMA'd for 8600GTS (Still in the mail.) currently using MX4000 :(
DFI LanParty UT NF4-D
Samsung 160GB IDE
Arctic Freezer 64 Pro
Centurion 5 (Eww.) :(
SoundBlaster Live! 24-bit
Rosewill ATNG built 500w modular
X-530's
MX518
Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000
Viewsonic P815 21" CRT

Just for the record, none of the Yate Loons produce 90 CFM. Second, the Antec 900 is not a quiet case, it's pretty much the opposite. No cases make noise, cases are designed to contain it. That is what the Antec 900 has trouble doing being extremely ventilated. :\

And no video card can hand Crysis it's ass. Handing Crysis it's ass is playing it max resolution, max settings, with decent frames, and that's one thing an HD 2900XT will not do :\

I didn't need to play at max resolution. I played at 1280x1024 which was perfectly fine at the time, and I consider being able to fraps it at 30fps good enough to consider its ass handed to it considering how many people think you can't run it at Very High when they have no idea how to configure their machines. Crysis is a very boring game, though. I didn't play it too long before I got bored of Farcry1.1 and moved back on to UT3.

By noise I meant containment, anyway. A lot of people seemed to whine about the 2900XT making noise but I never hear it. It's well-ventilated case but I can't hear anything coming from it.

lol, 1280x1024 is ass handed to it...

If you can't hear anything coming from the inside of the case then your components are quiet, not your case. Unless you're willing to tell me the sound prevention features the Antec 900 has.. *cough*..

Eh. I dunno. It's quiet, that's what I care about. Now the cpu fan on that athlon 2500 xp...

1280x1024 was a perfectly acceptable resolution on a 21" CRT. Now that I'm using this newer monitor though I'd probably be trying my luck with 1900x1200 like I am with everything else.

RMA support said that an 8600GTS was being shipped.

I wouldn't be hoping for a 8600GTS, if I were in that stage. I was hoping for anything else BUT an 8600GTS, lol. But 8600GTS is fine, I might volt mod it if I pick up a multimeter and circuitwriter pen, maybe not though.
