Command Center Not Getting Placed

So i made a trigger where when you lift off command center it gets destroyed and makes a new one (by making the location only check for air units) but for some reason, when i lift it off, it gets destroyed but when it makes a new one, i get the big "ERRRK" and unit unplaceable thing. I used starforge and made an exactly 3x4 square that the CC gets placed on, is that the problem? how do i fix it? :-(

Also how do u get minerals in staredit.net?

Is it too close to minerals or vespene, and is the ground you are recreating it on placeable?

You post, or play the games.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

By useful posts you get minerals. Once you have enough you can try your luck at games.

Make sure the terrain you place the cc is buildable. Although you can preplace anywhere, via triggers you only can create on buildable terrain.
3x4 is fine. Even 1 pixel would be fine. It just depends on the 3x4 terrain underneath the center of the location.

is some other trigger creating a unit there and removes it right after?

Sometimes the location is just a little too small for the unit, try giving it a little more space and see if it works.

Thank you all for your posts, but after like half an hour of playing around, i found that those like "independent starport" things that look like scouts (which I was using for help messages) don't actually fly; they were hovering over the place where the command center was.

Thanks anyway! :dontgetit:

Oh, lol, yeah, those units are actually buildings, they just don't have their own image so they take the image of the scout.

They can also be renamed and used as buildings or units, or props, or ornaments, or pie!
