Hi all, I have an idea.
Everyone knows that Blizzard has stopped supporting the game.
I thought about creating or finding one place where ALL fans will be. Where fans with different languages will be (english, spanish, korean, russian etc). SEN is suitable for this idea.
What do I want to implement?
Invite as many people as possible here + post all links to all fan communities.
What am I waiting for?
All fans will collaborate and create more content.
P.S. the game will live if the fans will support the game, but if everyone is in the ONE place then the fan support will be better.
What do you think?
Ive been linking to this site for more than a year now on my map and invited several fans to join this forum more will come bit by bit if we all link to this site on our maps. tho alot of players dosent use forums, fan sites, communities, only thing not so good is two players i invited had troubles making an account saying the recaptha dosent work for them.

This site is broken in several places and nobody there maintaining it. If you invite many more people it will just shut down. It happened before. Part of the reason people migrated to discord.
Plus I doubt you can convince a majority of the Koreans to come here over Naver.

Maybe need to update the site to make it work better?

Somewhere in there is discord of SEN?

Is there a better option? For example, mapster. (just mapster only for sc2)
nibbits is an option tho i cant create an accout on that site abit weird but thats surely an ok huge map site for sc1 maps

Unfortunately no one takes the initiative (or no one has the ability to handle something like that).
The Starcraft community itself is quite small and grossly divided.
For my part, I have noticed that the Spanish community has a low interest in mods and custom maps, they are dedicated exclusively to competitive (this is not necessarily negative). Luckily with the development of a mod it seems that it could help in this aspect, attracting more people with the help of influential people (this is how "cattle" works).
Personally, the only thing I see for my planets are people trying to host people to create "a community of their own", instead of expanding or helping Starcraft itself. I understand that everyone wants their space, but very few are really willing to "help." I know very few interested people, or map makers (some even refuse to participate in pages like this).
As additional data, the quality standards for maps and custom campaigns in these parts are quite low, so low that it seems that I am a god with maps, when in fact I am a level 1 clown (with modding I hope I can be a clown of Level 2).

The Russian community has the same problem. Very few people translate maps/campaigns, but even fewer create them, it is sad.

THIS IS what I want to convey to people.

The Russian community has a interest custom maps and competitive, but mods... not everyone knows about mods and is unlikely to be interested in them. (not a popular topic)

Content quality suffers due to low standards.
Thank you, I wrote the same information there.

I dont fully agree this statement and i know others who would say that theres beeing made some great quality stuff to starcraft remastered. At least im getting really good feedback for the work i do on my map and beeing told about other great new maps beeing made or beeing perfected like temple siege for excample.
about Discord SEN, i did use it for some time ago but seemed to me that it was mostly just chatting. not at all the same as this forum where maps showcases is posted and you can search the site for info about stuff you wanna learn or do. I couldnt use discord for that but discord sen prolly be an ok fan community place with strings to this forum

I was thinking about the place where the maps will be placed + there will be a discussion. This reminds me mapster.
The Russian community has a interest custom maps and competitive
Could you provide links to these communities?
