I spilled water on my desk and some of it dripped onto my computer and now it won't turn on. When I press the power button, the fan LEDs turn on for a split second and then turn off. What could this be? Mobo? Power supply? I dried off as much as I could from the inside, and I'm hoping everything will be fine once it fully dries, but I'm not sure what the extent of the damage could be.

EDIT: Just took out the graphics card and the computer starts now. That sucks since the graphics card is my most expensive part. Anyone have any ideas on how to dry/salvage it?

Check the pci slot on mobo as well. Make sure no moisture is in there

Rice trick on the gpu. Careful no grains get stuck in heatsink/fan. Perhaps take the hs/fan assembly off first. If you do have thermal paste handy. Keep mobo upside down over a fan over night. See if it helps.

There's no way water got into the card. The water dripped in from the top of the case onto the exposed mobo of the card, which is bad, but the fan was on the other side so I don't believe it got inside.

I'm pretty sure this card is fucked, so looks like I'm on the market for a new one. I had the RX 480, but that shit is like $400+ everywhere I look. Anyone have recommendations for a similar card under $300?
