I have never tried this. The best advice I can give is to hack together something by looking at the tech and order requirements in Firegraft of the Lurker.

Hm... It's an interesting problem. I'd go about it by cannibalizing the hero Siege Tank. Alternatively, you /may/ be able to give the unit in question whatever order the Lurker runs while burrowed via plugin.

If you do cannibalize the Siege Tank, would it not lose the attack behaviours of the Reaver?

Although one could just as easily use plugins to mimic to a fair degree the attack behaviours of Reavers.

Oops, didn't see he'd mentioned the Reaver. That's why you make a clear OP, OP!

Sorry, but you should just put all of your relevant information in this thread, either by paraphrasing or copy/paste, since I can't access that website.

If you're trying to make a Swarm Host, good luck with that.

There is an AI script that spawns a unit ID at a coordinate pair.
If you know the memory addresses of where the script reads from for unit ID and X and Y coords, you can do this pretty easily.
Otherwise, sorry, I don't feel up to finding the addresses.

Why would you want to use a Reaver? Swarm Hosts are supposed to spawn endless waves of free units that live for a short time, right? You should use a plugin to

(1) Detect when a swarm host is burrowed
(2) Find out whether the swarm host is attacking something (maybe you should use lurkers here)
(3) Spawn the locusts on top of the burrowed swarm hosts
(3) Order the locusts to attack-move to the position that the swarm host is attacking

RadiganP:

Do you know how to spawn units via a plugin? Without triggers? Or with other restrictions, conditions, etc.? I am highly interested in the possibilities of a call that can be made within a plugin to create a unit indiscriminately.
