I noticed a bug where I placed a Kakaru on the map and it was cloaked, and the only thing I could see was it's shadow. I don't know how I did it. I'm using the increased speed with a scarab trick, and not disabling doodads etc. Is there a way to produce this effect through a trigger? I checked out the effects of units on the disable doodads page and didn't find it. I'm sure there is a way to exploit this bug, and if anyone has any answers I would appreciate them. Thanks!!! Kakaru was unclickable as well, by the way..
Sounds like some weird side effect from the scarab and probably tileset you're using.
Apart from disable doodad, you won't be able to induce this effect through any triggers, and even then disable doodad doesn't work on most units.

Is the kakaru actually cloaked meaning it can't be attacked without detection? Or is the sprite just glitched.

Well I think it might have been a tile-set glitch with the scarab. I didn't try to attack it or anything. But it was definitely cloaked. It had the normal cloaked effects of any cloaked unit. Only I could see the shadow. And I tested disabling doodad and and it definitley works. With one trigger I tested it just holds position and cant move unless mind controlled. The other it just cloaks but I can still see it. I'll make a map with the triggers I used. And also the kakaru was unclickable, and it was a neutral 12 unit. But I figured out you can disable kakaru but it's on the crash list for disabled units. But I definitely disabled it. I was even able to disable it while I was looking at the unit. I will post 2 maps with the outcomes I have. And I figured I can do it without the scarab so it's not a bug with scarab or anything. But it doesn't fully cloak.
Edit: Here is one with Kakaru where he looks like he's flying but he's not. But once you mind control him he will be able move again.
