Meh~

No point in typing anymore, b/c it's pretty evident that he likes to do things his own way.
Also no point typing in that forum, because it consists of players who have played Star Strikers for so long that posts there will inevitably be biased against new players. (also, if he cares, he can always come here :P)

I'm just going to say what I've always said: Streamline the design, it is too complicated right now, with too many little niggles that don't add to the core gameplay (and adding Specializations [on top of everything] is a bad idea)

Any suggestions as of how to "Streamline" it?

Most new players have no trouble picking up the core concepts. While a simplified mode might be fun for some, it would get boring fast. "Streamline" implies improving efficiency- there is nothing inefficient about the game, it just has a slight learning curve.

In my eyes, there are two main inefficiencies.. I've stressed about them before... so yeah.

To those who didn't know, this game is still going pretty well, and it has been updated quite a lot since the last time I've played it (5 months ago...).
Its forum has also moved: http://www.starstrikers.com/

There is now a statistic and rank system, the vote for the game-style is done only by players having played a minimum amount of games (you can disable the rank in it), many units were balanced, and there has been lots of bug-fixing.
The drone, queen, stalker, archon, roach, etc. all have seen themselves highly modified to better balance the game, and make them funnier.

Join the channel "Strikers": it is rather full and it's easy to get a game going.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Awesome, my anti-virus blocked that site because it attempted to download a trojan to my computer. Visitors of starstrikers.com beware, I guess. I dunno if you're in contact with the creator/webmaster at all, but you may want to pass that on.

Would you have the "name" of the trojan?
And could you try to access the site once again just to make sure? I haven't had any problems. :/

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

My NOD32 flagged it as "JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKI trojan." This trojan was recently added to NOD32's database so perhaps it's a new one that may slip by other anti-virus programs?
Quote from ESET NOD32 forums
It is a packed JavaScript code which is creating a hidden IFRAME to some free web page registered with malicious intention.

I just checked their site and I don't get the message anymore, but I did get it 4 times when I posted that prior post. Oh well.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
