OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Back in 2003 or 2004 I was really into the map-making clan scene. I was directed to the old Team StarEdit site for help with mapping and to find mapping programs like GUEdit and later StarForge. After a few months, I seem to recall the forum gradually dying and everyone migrated to a new site called Staredit.net. I remember really liking the layout of the site, specifically the color scheme as Team SE's was white, black, and navy blue. I was happy to see that most if not all of the people I had become friends with on the Team SE forums had joined here, and I got hooked. I was even a diehard SEN fanboy in the SEN/Maplantis split.

Liek damn.

I remember when I first came to Staredit, I was young, naive, and stupid. Then gradually I became a better man, stopped spamming stuff like ;D or O.O after everything. I remember the first two people that began feedback on my map, those being T-Virus and Moogle. Moogle still is a great friend and pops on my teamspeak, along with a few other senners. I remember long nights of testing my map and not understanding good trigger concepts, and learning new tricks and stuff. If only I knew about death counters then, shit.

So uh, remind us again Kame, why are you here? :hurr:

Also remind us again why your avatar is a ghost formed sheet over a penis?

Stop being so selfish! You don't even play starcraft.

I found SEN while I was looking for help with maps that I was working on.
At first I only used it for questions, then later I started getting more interested in the other forums :D
Now, I'm hooked.

Kame is here because one night I ate some radioactive pizza. Things got hairy, and well, that's how Kame got here.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

CAMPFIRE STORIES!?

Alright, I came here when I was working on an old map by the name of Battery Defense. I picked stuff up pretty fast, but I just didn't know anything and my friend from then (black dragon or something rather) had already taught me everything he knew which was just hyper triggers and death counters. So I expanded to here in a later version under the alias damned_soldier and started reading the help topics, learning from there since there wasn't a wiki.

I didn't become well known as Loveless until the SEN/Maplantis split and I took the side of Maplantis, being a die hard fan of open source to where I had even dedicating Clan Dyne existence to the effort. There I became rather well known mostly from my companion cube avatar, which is EXACTLY this :cube: and lolcats signature. My maps and work with Sprites soon followed suit, bringing me up to a decent mapper.

Since then, I kind of just fell off the radar and casually lurk SEN.

she/her

Came here for the modding after Maplantis died.

I think I made an account here before Maplantis though, just to have a place-holder accout. I don't recall. I remember hating SEN's layout though, which was why I didn't become active until later.

Arguably, I'm still not active.

Man, what the Hell am I doing here!?

I came here because I never liked DM getting all the glory in some place. Or some silly story like that.

Now, I just post randomly in Null. Lifes good, amirite.

I order you to forgive yourself!

If I remember correctly, here is how I found Sen:

I made a bound, it was a big fail. Lethal_Illusion (I think it was him.) happened to be in the game and told me it sucked and that I should use Hyper Triggers and I could learn about them on Sen.

Note: The map was called Marine bound. You would dodge the obstacles with a marine .
