I like the idea of only having to search one forum... Simpler, also glad to see da Snipa back, welcome to Sen! I'll miss, maplantis, it gave us a home, but I guess that's less cash being spent for the same basic purpose.

Quote from Yoshi da Sniper
Apart we are weak, together we are stronger.
Yet more vulnerable. I'd choose diversity both sides offer - Maplantis for pure mapping, SEN for chatting and a bit of mapping. I'm dissapointed that you let such minor (in my opinion) problems at Maplantis get you down. You created it, you have all the rights to shut it down, but I hope you'll reconsider - you are dissapointing those who loved the simplicity and elegance of Maplantis (something SEN always lacked).

So I just got home from school and I was carrying a piece of paper with me. It was a mock newspaper I did when I was bored. I made the headlines "SEN back from the dead, Maplantis goes down" and coincidentally, it's omfg true.

Well, I say it must be awful for you to pull the plug from Maplantis. I mean its a beautiful creation of yours and we loved it(by "we" I mean the folks who seeked refuge on Maplantis). It gave us a home.

Now we have two great mapping sites with (almost) the same userbase, why not merge? If people will complain about the noob(not newbie) swarm in SeN then the people who kept away the noobs from Maplantis will help.
If we dont merge it would be a waste of time(for the users) and money(2 sites with almost-same userbase and same purpose)

So...

Welcome back Technical_Death/YoshiDaSniper/Tau/Michael Lat/OMFG IT FOLDS UP!

Welcome back. It seems like the community is united again.

Dungeon Master

On the contrary, Will, the community will never be what it once was. Many of our mature members have left, and it seems apparent that many new, less mature members are joining. It seems that the more I look at SEN's boards, the less it seems like home.

Here's hoping this can be rectified.

Bingo. This pretty much sucks, we'll just need Yoshi to work some type of magic, he may be capable...

I am also missing the old days, but I was also getting comfortable at Maplantis. I hope we STAY here, and it's a good time ;)

Many of the old members will never come back. You'll just have to learn who the younger crowd is, and build them up to a respectable state. In the meantime, old members huggle up. *huggles*

We were all young once, and many of you still are. Instead of writing young, less mature members off, why not nurture them? Also, set an example by being more mature than they (i.e. not whining). :-_-:

Nice, you're back.

Is Mini Moose still part of the site?

Vrael -- It is, and I could definitely use a company with a commitment to flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction to provide effective solutions to dampness and humidity in my urban environment.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
[06:50 pm]
Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?

Vrael shouted: I've also recently becoming interested in Carpet Cleaning, but I'd like to find someone with a reputation for unparalleled quality and attention to detail.
beats me, but I'd make sure to pick the epitome of excellence and nothing less.

Vrael -- It seems like I may need Introductions to multiple companies for the Topics that I care deeply about, even as early as Today, 6:03 am.
