Yup, you use the Import tool to get your files associated with your map. Then it is just a case of using the data editor / triggers to play or make use of these assets. Let me know if you need more info than this.
Also, welcome to SEN - always good to have another EU member to our ranks. Add me if you get the chance Cardinal.903

Be sure to use a program to convert you audio file to .ogg. I used audacity(free), otherwise if you have a big sound file it wont compress at all.

You will need to define the sound in the sounds portion of the Data Editor. This should be as simple as copying an existing entry similar to what you want your sound to be, then altering the file it references to. For the case of music, it helps to also set up a Soundtrack entry, since the Soundtrack-related triggers give you more power over controlling music then the Sound related triggers do.
If the editor whines about the map being in use when you change Sound data, you'll need to save the map under a new name. I need to do this every time I add any dialogue to my maps or whatnot and I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

Oh. That's an old thread someone necro'd. Well then. Troll successful.
Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.
I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

You need to close the sc2.exe for some reason.
